Placements: In history honors, the placement is fairly low. As compared to other non-liberal arts subjects. Lots of students focus on further studies and competitive exams. So for placement, an exact estimate is hard to establish, but a lot of students do well.
Placements: In our department, the placements are very low, but you can still sit for placement and apply for human resources. The placements are very active for other departments such as economics, B.Com., and statistics. The average number of placements is about 7 to 9 LPA, and the highest package at Delhi University was from LSR for 49 LPA this year.
Placements: Students from my course could only be placed in the field of research, museology or archaeology. Some of the job role suited for this course would be editor or researcher in newspapers or magazines. However, only a few percent of students are placed in this course. Some of the internships and placements from this course would be The Hindustan, UNESCO, Airtel, HCL, Indian PAC, NIIT, etc.
Placements: Almost 70-80 percent students got placed, the number is comparatively less this year due to recession period. The highest package was INR 49 LPA from our department. It has its own placement cell. The top recruiters are Blackrock, EY, Deloitte etc. The average package is INR 10 LPA.
Placements: You got the placement as a Hindi officer or a translator but you have to study English as your minor subject. At that time, we did not remember previous placements because many of us took this course so that we could also prepare for any competitive exam simultaneously.
Placements: Placement rates for B.Com (Hons) students at LSR varies annually. Typically, a significant portion of students secure placements. Top recruiting firms include Amazon, Deloitte, KPMG, EY, PwC and HDFC Bank. Roles offered range from financial analyst to business consultant. Diverse opportunities are available to graduates.
Placements: Placements are really good for LSR. Top companies such as BCG, Accenture, and Gartner visit the campus for placements. The highest package for the college is 42 Lacs pa and the highest package for my course is 18 Lacs pa and the lowest package is 4 Lacs pa. Top role offered is that of Business Analyst.
Placements: The highest placement of 49 LPA this year, which is the highest in DU. Average package around 14 LPA. Median around 12 LPA. LSR has the highest placements from the past two years. Top companies include BCG, Deutsche Bank, World Bank, Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc.
Placements: In this course, there is a scope for government as well as private job opportunities. There are NGOs that provide internship opportunities. In this course, one can gain a lot of experience during an internship. After obtaining this degree, I would like to search for an NGO where I can teach students.
Placements: This course is very interesting; 50–60% of students get placements and around INR 40–50,000 is the starting package, which goes up to INR 1-2 lacs. I am a reputed school recruiter and my course is very helpful because it gives you opportunities to gain life experience and do better in the course.
Placements: I think approximately 80 percent of students are placed, and most of them got good scholarships for further studies in institutions abroad like Singapore University and summer schools like London School of Economics and Singapore University. We got a lot of marketing internships and taught kids in rural areas.
Placements: 5–10% students are placed and top companies are Cannon, Keplers, etc. And in my college, there is also a placement cell in which most of the placement-related work happens and this cell is not only in my college; it is a collective cell of the whole Delhi University.
Placements: You can't get placement in Sanskrit; it's better to go with a Masters in this, but if you want, then go with placement through your GE, like economics, states, etc. If you choose and are an active participant in the placement cell, also do internships in between and be active in societies that might help you with that.
Placements: In sociology department placement ratio is low. Out of 40 students hardly 2 students get placed. As per college don't provide any specific internship but there is national service scheme which gives students a certified internship. Student from sociology mostly placed in policy making.
Placements: There is 100% placement in the elementary education department of our college. You can get into any private or government school as a teacher. Schools will approach you directly from the college. We will get a 6-month internship in the 4th year.
Placements: The percentage of placements in LSR is very high. Most students—nearly 70–80%—were placed. Like in our batch, out of 97 students, nearly 75–80 got placed in very good organizations. In between, you will find internship opportunities. The highest package is INR 40 LPA, the lowest is INR 5 LPA, and the average package is INR 10 LPA. Mickneys, BCG, Accenture, KPMG, L. K. Placements: Major portion of students from this batch either go for Masters or prepare for civil service examinations. So the remaining students who sit for placements generally get placed in reputed companies. Out of all the students who sit for placement, 70% get placed through on campus placements and others get placed through off campus placements. The highest package offered is around INR 17LPA, average package offered is INR 8-9LPA and the lowest package offered is INR 4LPA. Some of the top recruitin...
