Placements: It is a great college with awesome placement opportunities. Around 80% of the students get placed on average. They are placed in good firms like Samsung, E&Y, Amity School etc. Salary packages offered were around 2.5-6 Lacs per annum.
Placements: I am currently pursuing a course of bachelor of elementary education in Lady Shri Ram College for Women, Delhi University, or LSR. The placements in our college are quite good. Many schools also visit our campus for recruitment. Moreover, private schools also offer placements here.
Placements: We have pretty good placement offers and internship opportunities for all courses. Packages differ for students and as far as I know, more than 80 percent of the students who wish to do internship are granted one. Same with placements too. Options are pretty great!
Placements: Average package of 2018-19 was around 7.5L and majority of the students placed are from eco hons, B.Com (Hons) maths hons or statistics hons. Over 100 companies such as McKinsey, LEK, BCN, KPMG etc. Visits campus to offer full time positions. Companies like Standard Chartered, Nomura, Citi Bank, JSW, etc. Have hired students for summer internship programmes.
Placements: According to the recent statistics, approximately 30% students were placed. The highest package was 37 LPA and the lowest package was 9 LPA, with the average of 15 LPA. The top recruiting companies include Praxis, JSW, Kepler, WTW, HUL and many more. About 65% students were recruited as interns in companies like BlackRock and Citibank.
Placements: Around 10%-12% of the students from our course got placed. The highest salary package offered was approximately 4 LPA-5 LPA. Recruiting companies for our college are Byju's, Eat My News and Times Internet. Top roles offered in our course are probably content creator, copywriter and research analyst. Around 10%-15% of the students got internships in companies like Eat My News, Times Internet, Femina, etc.
Placements: I am a fresher, so I don't know much information regarding placements. Though during the orientation, they informed that students would have really good placements. However, the rate of students got placed in the course was more than most of the colleges under Delhi University.
Placements: LSR has an active placement cell which keeps the students updated about the opportunities. The placement cell appoints a representative from every department providing a link to all departments and their needs. I interned with Teach For India in my second year, which is a part of Teach for all network, a group of independent organisations aiming to bring educational equality in the world. I applied through the mail forwarded by the placement cell.
Placements: A lot of students didn't attend placement drives since the job profiles barely matched the majority of people's options. They were mostly related to HR, economics or commerce. Not all attended for placements because they wanted to study further. However, with a field like journalism, you'll have to do a lot of internships and build contacts to grab a job or at least an internship.
Placements: Placements in our college are really great if you decide to sit for the placement talks and other activities. Our seniors were also offered great salary packages after their graduation in economics Hons, English Hons, B.Com (Hons)., etc. Placement cell looks after the entire placement process. It stays in contact with the students who enrolled for placements. Students can get information about companies' requirements.
Placements: Placements were very good, at least for my department. Most of the placement offers were from consulting firms. The placement cell is quite active. The college provides internships as well, and they also conduct many workshops to prepare students for the same.
Placements: Almost 50% of the class got placed last year. Salaries offered ranged from Rs. 30,000 per month to Rs. 40,000 per month. Schools like Kendra Vidhalya and internationals school visited our campus for recruitment. Students have to do a 6-months internship at the end of the course, and it is compulsory for every B. El. Ed. student.
Placements: For Hindi department there were not enough placements available. But there were other departments like commerce and economics etc. There were very much opportunities available for them but comparatively for Hindi department if there was the pay wasn't much.
Placements: Placements in the college are decent. Companies that visit the college offered an average package of 3.50 LPA to 4 LPA to our batch and our senior batch. Many top companies visit the college to hire students, and everyone who wishes to get jobs gets placed. The college doesn't provide internships to students. Generally, students are offered roles related to accounts handling and excel based.
Placements: Most of the students who sit for placements have been absorded by great companies like E&Y, Bank of America, and various other stuff. The college dies provide multiple internships most of them are open for all departments like Google Summer Internship programme, Hindustan Times, NDTv. Some of these internships are subject specific. As far as internships for history students is concerned no internships related directly to the subject are provided however the students of this subject are allowed t...
Placements: The placements of B.A [hons. ] in the history of my batch and my senior is average. Some students got placed from the college with a package offered by companies to students is not that good. There is no internship from college side. The placement cell is not focusing on B.A courses students.
Placements: During internships, we didn't get any kind of stipend we need to spend our own money for whatever material was required during the internship. A school is required to call our coordinators (two teachers and one of our classmate) then our coordinators contact us. Schools come and tell us about them and then, we have a GD, a pre-placement talk and then we need to go to these schools to give our interview. Last year, the placement was around 40% and this year, it is less than that. Schools like GD...
Placements: It is professionally executed. However, the placement process is restrictive and biased in the sense that students are categorised and made to sit for placements based on their discipline, not interests and abilities. Like only corporates come for economics and commerce, completely neglecting the fact that students of these disciplines might be interested in other fields too, fields as variable as wildlife protection, editing, journalism, etc.
Placements: The placements for my department were not that good. When I took admission, it was told by the faculty that at the end of the course, everyone will have 2 placements in their hand. But we realized that these were false promises. Most of my batchmates didn't even get 1 placement through college.
LSR provides young women from across the country an exceptional space to learn and grow. Not only are the teaching standards high, the composition of the student community is extremely diverse. The infrastructure is equipped to support students from all social and economic backgrounds. I am lucky to be a part of this institute. There are very few drawbacks of the college. One of which would be the semesters being extremely intensive, when it comes to academics leaving hardly any time to do anyth...
