- Discontinued (Oct 2023)- M.A. in Political Science Lady Shri Ram College for Women, University of Delhi
Placements: The placements are excellent, though they vary depending on the course. The Commerce and Economics departments have outstanding placement records, with packages ranging from 30-50 LPA. In comparison, Arts courses have slightly lower placements, but Political Science and English still offer impressive average packages of 20-40 LPA. Overall, it’s a very good college.
Placements: Even though a select few students from the course get placed (not for paucity of opportunities but because of high competition), the placements offered are very high in value. We have the highest placement in all of Delhi University. The highest package offered overall, ever, is from my course (BlackStone, around 47 Lacs per annum). The lowest, of course, scales down to 6 Lacs packages. The average is around 10-11 Lacs. The top recruiting companies for my course are Blackrock, Blackstone, HUL, M...
Placements: Placements for the Sanskrit department from the college are rare, and even then, they are not for Sanskrit-related jobs. The situation with internships is similar. Only one person in my batch was offered an internship (for 10 thousand rupees a month). If you desire to get a campus placement, you must be active in the placement cell from the first semester itself.
Placements: Economics hons is a course in which the highest number of students are placed in the entire DU circuit. The average package of LSR is around 11 LPA and the median package is 9 LPA. The top recruiters which come to LSR are consulting giants like BCG, Kepler Cannon, Barclays, Accenture, etc. The top roles offered in my course is research and development, consulting, HR, etc. Internship offers also keep getting circulated throughout the year, with stipends ranging from 5,000 per month to even 20,00...
Placements: The placement cell at Lady Shri Ram College is quite active. About 80–90% of students get placed every year. The placement cell tries to invite recruiters from different backgrounds so that students from diverse departments can appear for it. The highest package of LSR till now has been 48.9 LPA. Students get various opportunities for internships as well.
Placements: In this course, there is a scope for government as well as private job opportunities. There are NGOs that provide internship opportunities. In this course, one can gain a lot of experience during an internship. After obtaining this degree, I would like to search for an NGO where I can teach students.
Placements: You can't get placement in Sanskrit; it's better to go with a Masters in this, but if you want, then go with placement through your GE, like economics, states, etc. If you choose and are an active participant in the placement cell, also do internships in between and be active in societies that might help you with that.
Placements: In sociology department placement ratio is low. Out of 40 students hardly 2 students get placed. As per college don't provide any specific internship but there is national service scheme which gives students a certified internship. Student from sociology mostly placed in policy making.
Placements: Almost 70-80% of students got placed in our course. The highest salary package offered was 40 LPA. The average salary package offered ranges from 8 LPA - 9 LPA. The top recruiting companies are DE Shaw, Boston Group of Consultancies, Jordan Fisher, and McKenzie. The top roles offered are summer associates, data analysts, and consultant.
Placements: Almost 90% of students got placed in our course. There were many opportunities and we can easily get jobs. Top recruiting companies were Barkley's, PWC, and Bank of Scotland. Around 90% of students got internships in reputed companies. Top roles offered were data analyst, researcher, and lecturer.
Placements: A number of students are placed from this combination. However, mostly, the economics honors course takes the lead. There is a strict code to not reveal salary packages but top companies like McKinsey have recruited students in the past year. The course is great overall and can earn roles like business analyst, data analyst, and data administrator.
Placements: More for commerce students and economic students. For students pursuing humanitarian courses, getting internships and placements are difficult as not many companies are approached. Top recruits are offered as much as 45 LPA. But those are from the background.
Placements: The college cell is very active and since the last few years, our college has been giving the highest-paid internships and placements in all DU colleges. The placement cell is active throughout the year and students receive many internship offers. You would have many opportunities to gain experience and earn money along with your studies. Most of the students get placed in their final year. In my course, students get up to Rs.45000 - Rs.50000 earning jobs as freshers. After finishing BEL. Ed, on...
Placements: Placements do happen but I think because of this pandemic, this process got a little unusual for all of us. Before 2 years, it was very smooth and good. There are many students who have got placed in very good and reputed organisations and companies. The course is a teaching professional course so we got to apply in some good schools like Heritage School, Aravali school, Shiv Nadar School, etc.
Placements: The placements are average and depend on your academic score. The recruiting companies are very well-reputed and offer good roles. A lot of internships are offered that will help us build our resumes and help us in jobs in future. There are many courses offered and many streams of UG programs from which you can choose. It has a great environment for growth.
Placements: Best students from our college get placement although LSR is the top most prestigious college from du. Average package of 8 lac/ p.a. we also have placement cell which provides internship to students in every field. Top roles offered are professors, archaeological etc.
Placements: Although the college claims it has 100% placements, but the reality is it is somewhere between 70%-80%, which is a decent number. Mainly the top recruiters here are reputed MNCs like Colgate, Amazon, Walmart, etc. They offer diverse job profiles such as accounting, human resources, business development associates, etc.
Placements: More than 60% of students from our course are placed. The highest salary package offered is 21 LPA, and the lowest salary pacakge offered is 5 LPA. The average salary pacakge offered ranges from 8 LPA - 10 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Amazon, McKinsey, BCG, Kearney, Brain and company, etc. Around 20% of our course-mates get internships from EY, JSW, Bank of America, etc. The top roles offered are analyst, business consultants, HR managers, sales managers, political consultants, etc.
