Is it worth pursuing B.E./B.Tech at M.I.E.T. Engineering College?

Here's a summary of the pros and cons:

    Pros:

    * Good infrastructure and facilities, including air-conditioned labs and a large library with over 10,000 books.
    * Friendly and helpful faculty members, with most having a postgraduate degree or Ph.D.
    * Opportunities for internships and projects, allowing students to gain practical experience.
    * Campus placements are available, with companies like TCS, Cognizant, Capgemini, TVS, Tech Mahindra, and Indian Cement visiting the campus.
    * Average salary package offered is around INR2-3 Lacs per annum.
    * Student-friendly campus with a pleasant atmosphere and recreational activities.

    Cons:

    * Limited WiFi availability, which might hinder online research and communication.

Engineering College depends on individual priorities and goals.

Good college as of other big colleges.
Placements: In our course, about 65% of students secured jobs post-graduation. Salary offers range from 38,000 to 140,000 on average. The main recruiters included TechWave, InnovateNow, and CodeCrafters. Around 25% of us got internships with start-ups like DigitalDreams, NextWave, and SmartSolutions, typically in roles such as software developer and UX/UI designer.
Infrastructure: The campus facilities are functional but basic. Labs, classrooms, and the library meet our needs adequately. Hostel life is manageable, though not luxurious, and the food in the mess and canteen is average but sufficient. A clinic is nearby for medical issues, and sports facilities are available for those interested. All in all, the campus provides the essentials.
Faculty: College life here has its ups and downs. Some days are enjoyable; others are just routine. Professors are generally supportive and knowledgeable, though some have more practical experience than others. The curriculum is adequate but could benefit from more real-world applications. Exams are challenging but fair, with most students passing if they put in the effort.

I am satisfied for the fees I paid.
Placements: Students with any percentage in academics are placed because my academy sees the presence of mind & talents in students. After the pandemic, not many big companies are recruiting from our college. Companies looking for startup and which are average, are recruiting partners and they provided opportunities for everyone.
Infrastructure: Very good infrastructure and the spaces in labs are air conditioned well. College has fresh environment but hostel facilities are average and no WIFI is there because they want us to focus completely on our career. Power never shuts off unless a hurricane happened and too much of rain is there.
Faculty: Very good faculty members and staffs who guide & treat all the students equally, if they are on the right path. Faculty members are disciplined in attending the classes and giving lectures on time. They accept valuable reasons if students made excuses. They conduct regular tests, provide study materials and references.
Other: I have taken Mechanical Engineering and it's a fun batch. Specially in the lab periods, there were a lot of machines to operate on and that gives me happiness.
