Our college provides good facilities and infrastructure.
Placements: Chemical engineering course offers a lot of jobs in Karnataka as well as in India in petroleum industries, food industries, research field, also. Top recruiting companies visit our college for placements from Karnataka are SUEZ, Auto System, The Better India, SABIC, etc.
Infrastructure: Our college provides good facilities and infrastructure. Our college provides facilities like a good library, digital library, well-disciplined classrooms and labs. Labs are good with good instrumental setup and availability of lecturers and lab attenders. Good facilities are available in the hostel. Food served in the canteen is good. Sports facilities are available on the campus.
Faculty: Every lecturer in our department is very skilful, knowledgeable and very helpful. They help and interact with each student. They guide and give detailed information. They are very informative. They are very friendly.

DECENT COLLEGE in chemical engineering.
Placements: There are excellent placement opportunities available, however, there is a limited presence of core companies participating in the recruitment process. The majority of companies that visited were focused on business Development and Sales, with only Yokogwa and UHP technologies representing core chemical companies so far. There have been few placements in chemical engineering to date, but it is possible that more companies will visit in the future. It is important to note that this assessment may evolve over time.
Infrastructure: The college boasts excellent infrastructure within the main building, while the attached washrooms in the hostels are satisfactory. However, I would advise against opting for the shared washrooms in the hostels, as they are not well-maintained. The chemical engineering department is situated in the old building, meaning that we do not have the privilege of utilizing the main building for our labs and classes; instead, we have to make do with the old PU block. The hostel fees are on the higher side, yet the maintenance of the hostels leaves much to be desired. Furthermore, the library has limited hours of operation, closing at 4 pm, which restricts students' access to its resources after this time.
Faculty: The faculty consistently offers us their support, however, the outdated labs, particularly in mass transfers/process control, hinder our progress as most equipment is non-functional. Unfortunately, the chemical engineering department is often overlooked in this regard, resulting in a standstill in our exposure to various types of equipment.
Other: I enrolled in chemical engineering with high hopes, but honestly, I find MVJ to be a less than ideal option for pursuing this field. My experience can be described as average at best.

Dissatisfied with the placements.
Placements: 2% of students have got an opportunity for internship cum job offer in Ion Exchange India limited as Proposal engineer. 2.6 Lacs per annum CTC was offered. There are many recruiting companies but we have got only one single core company that came for placements.
Infrastructure: The overall infrastructure of the entire college accounts to a 5 star. But the Chemical dept. is old. Ample equipped labs as per VTU syllabi. Canteen food is average, library is greatly appreciable for the digital library availability. Medical facilities not very reliable because they aren't available all the time. I remember wandering around the entire college in search of the medical room for a band aid and to this day I don't know where the room is.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable. VTU syllabus is not everything that is required. For one to be industry ready, more efforts are to be made by the college to make us industry ready. More Chemical Engineering related software and faculty members who have mastered the basics of these software is something that is missing.

Absolutely satisfied because of faculty, good placements, infrastructures etc.
Placements: 60% of the students were placed. The course has the highest package of 1 Lacs and the lowest of 11000 and average is 50000. The top recruiters were Ionexchange etc. 50% of internships were provided by the college and most of the students did internship themselves. Many roles are offered in the course.
Infrastructure: The facilities are provided by the college. Wi-Fi are slow, labs have provided with equipment, classrooms are provided with projectors, the library has many facilities. Food quality is average. Facilities in the hostel are average. Medical facilities are good.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful, well qualified and knowledgeable. In academics, they help very much and provide us good knowledge. Good teaching quality. This course curriculum is relevant and it makes the students industry ready and helpful for future studies too.
