Good infrastructure for studies, poor placements and no support for other activities than academics.

Placements: There are no proper placement as only IT companies comes for recruitment but the college will gives personality development classes to face the interviews. No core company will come for recruitment as mainly they are giving placements for CS and EC branch. A few students got placed in other branches that too in IT sector.

Unpredictable placements, satisfactory facilities, good faculty and a complex syllabus.

Placements: There are high profile companies such as HP, TCS, Capgemini that offer placements in MVCJE, but the percent of students placed is low. This is mainly because of the backlogs that students carry. Other reasons include incompetence, poor communication skills and the high number of applicants. Although, if selected, one can expect a decent base salary. Internships are easy to get and are very helpful.

The college is pretty decent in terms of infrastructure and facilities. The cost of education is really high here but the standard at which they teach is not so high. The chances of getting placed is pretty good and an aggregate of 60% is maintained. Traveling is hectic. There is good help if the student works on any innovative and useful projects. An entrepreneurship cell is established to help for the same.

MV Jayaraman College of engineering is one of the Tamil minority colleges which runs only on brand name & one of the engineering colleges which is just running on its brand name. This 32 year old college is situated at a far distance of 25 kms from majestic area which is quite difficult to reach there & quite even difficult to get a direct bus. The management is approximately equal to what we can call, the worst. Coming to the faculties, they select majority of the faculty from Tamil Nadu & Kera...

MVJCE is good only for a few streams of engineering and definitely not good for MBA and MCA. There is no placement. I certainly do not recommend anyone to choose MVJCE for MBA. Hostel facility is good. If you are going through PGCET, then a 2 years fee would be Rs. 1.2 lakhs and the same would cost 2+ lakhs if you are looking for a management seat.

Review of M.V.J. College of Engineering.

Placements: Here, around 70% of students got selected. The highest package we got is 10 LPA, and the lowest package is 3 LPA. Full sack developed. Here, students got placement because of online placements from our college. We didn't get any placements; only a few got placements from the college side.

Only students who want to opt for CS IS, EC can join this college.

Placements: If anyone is willing to come to this college, kindly opt for the EC, CS, or IS departments. The other courses are good, but there is no guarantee of placement. Many of the students will be assigned to the above-mentioned courses.

It is a good college, but choose education based on your field of interest.

Placements: Many companies visit our college for placements. The highest salary package offered is 6 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. We get offers for both technical and software recruitment. Opportunities are vast here, and the college does give opportunities for all the students.

Overall, in this college, you won't be having any fun, and it is more like school.

Placements: Our college does not provide placements in chemical engineering. Not even a single company visit our college for placements. Few chemical engineering students move towards the IT sector. For other courses like CS and ECE, placements are average. The salary package offered for CS and ECE courses ranges from 3.5-6.5 LPA.

Placements were below average in 2013.

Placements: There is a placement cell in our college, but placements were below average. Only 3 students from our batch got placed in Shapoorji Pallonji company, and no other core civil companies visited our campus for placement drive. The salary package offered was 3 LPA.

M.V.J. College of Engineering is an average college.

Placements: Placements are better, but not up to the mark. As we are from core branch, we can't even expect the highest salary. College administration is poor. Academics is the best in this college around in Bangalore. The college provides good PDP training session, which helps students in getting confidence to face placements.
