Fairly satisfied. But still a scope for improvement regarding teaching methods and infrastructure.

Placements: The work done by the placement cell was commendable. Around 80-85% of the students got placed. Reputed brands like Ericsson, Infosys, HCL, etc. were a part of the recruitment. The lowest average package offered was 3.25 lacs per annum. Internships are not the focus area of the college.

A decent and reputed college, affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University.

Placements: The placements were decent. The highest package was 12.5 lacs per annum, while the average package was 5 lacs per annum. Many companies like Microsoft, Infosys, TCS, Compro Technologies, etc., have visited the college. For the summer internship and training, students had to find the companies on their own.

MSIT- dissatisfied with the faculty department

Placements: The placements in our college were good but the package was low at around 1.8 to 3.5 lakhs. Almost half of our batch got a placement and the rest either went for off-campus placements or pursued further studies. The college management organised many seminars for skill development, personality development, etc. which helped in finding a job easily.

A good college to be a part of, at least for the computer science department.

The college has a 100% placement record. The salary packages vary from Rs. 3-4 lpa to Rs. 9-10 lpa. The average is Rs. 5 lpa. Experience was fine. Neither dissatisfied nor very satisfied.

Placements: Placement was good for our seniors. For 2013 batch, due to recession, it was not good. Many companies came to the campus like Infosys, HCL, Dell, Toshiba, etc. but took very less candidates for their company. Mostly software engineering posts were offered. Lowest salary offered around was 2 lakh, highest was more than 7 lakh and the average was 3.5 lakh.

MSIT - The best college under IP University. Go for it.

Placements: Since MSIT is amongst the top colleges of IP university, so the placement cell is very good. Almost 90%of the crowd is placed. The companies which visit for recruitment are Infosys, Accenture, Wipro, Microsoft, and few other companies. The highest on campus packet is 12 lakhs. The off-campus package is very high. If you want a good placement and want your name in the toppers, this is the place for you.

Placements: The college had average placements with packages of around 3.5-4 lacs per annum, which is the best in GGSIPU, I believe. The companies that visit us are a mixed bag. We get mass recruiters and core companies as well and MNCs like Microsoft. The highest package I heard this year was of 22 lacs per annum.

Placements: The placements for the batch are going very well. Even though the number of people the mass recruiters are hiring has gone down a bit (because of the global recession), the college does ensure a 100% placement record and has been doing that for quite some years now. The highest salary offered was 12 lacs P.A, the lowest being 3.4 lacs and the average being 5 lacs. The prominent companies visiting the college are Mu Sigma, Adobe, Microsoft, Infosys, Accenture, and much more. Student were offered ...

Choose only if you want to be schooled again.

Placements: The placements at MSIT are similar to those of majority of engineering colleges in India, with IT companies being the major recruiters. The placement season starts in August first week of the 7th semester, and continues up to the last week of April in the 8th Semester. Accenture and Infosys have been the mass recruiters since inception, with both the companies offering about 200-300 offers each every year. No non-tech companies visit the college for placements, however, MuSigma offers a data sci...
