One of the finest college of IPU to pursue B.Tech.

Placements: MSIT provides 100% placement and the average package is 3.25 LPA. If you are not happy with the average salary then you can work for Microsoft which offers a package up to 11 LPA or Mu Sigma which offers a package or 6 LPA approx. Also, many internship fairs are organised for the 3rd year students.

Once an MSITian, always an MSITian.

Placements: The college offers decent placements. The director of placements, Prof. Ashok Oberoi, successfully maintains good relations with the reputed companies in the corporate world and also closely monitors the execution of several placement-related events and activities throughout the year. Infosys and Accenture serve as mass recruiters. A large number of companies visit the campus like Cvent, Yamaha, Samsung, Nucleus, Compro, etc. to name a few. The packages offered usually ranges between 3 lacs to ...

Good placements with a decent salary.

Placements: Placements are very good in our college. Microsoft hired nearly 2 students for 12 LPA package, while Infosys and Accenture hire the rest of the 90% of the students. Many other companies like HCL, Wipro, Snapdeal and Hike visit our campus. 95% students get placed. The highest salary 12 LPA and the lowest is 3.5 LPA. The job profile is service-oriented.

Just go with it. You get all the fun + education + whatever you want to do.

Placements: Good placements, with about 95% placed for CSE/IT. Mass recruiters like Infosys and Accenture come as well as good companies with big packages like Microsft, Mu-Sigma, Lib-Sys come to the campus. After that, many students get chances for placement through AMCAT, Elitmus, and Naukri but they have mostly 2-4 LPA companies. The placement department is also very good in communication and is helpful.

Dissatisfied by placement and happy with faculty and seniors. Management is pathetic.

Placements: Placements are good for the people with good quant skills but are a nightmare for the people with excellent coding skills. The reason for this is the profiles by top notch companies like Microsoft, MuSigma, SAP and many others. MSGD gave the best package till now with a total package of 10.2 LPA with the base salary as 7.2 LPA. The lowest being Infosys with 3.25 LPA. Companies that visited the campus were: Accenture, Infosys, Microsoft, MuSigma, Sopra, SAP, Quovantis, Tech Mahindra, SmartPrix, ...

Review of Maharaja Surajmal Institute of Technology.

Placements: The placements are quite good for the institute. The training and placement cell makes sure that each and every student is placed with good accounts. The college also promotes third party consultants like AMCAT, eLitmus and other tests to get their students placed. Key accounts like Infosys, Dell, Impetus, and other technology companies visit the campus for placements.

I had a great time in this college.

Placements: The placements at MSIT were at par with any good engineering college. A large number of reputed companies visit on campus like Microsoft, Infosys, Accenture, E&Y, etc. just to name a few. The companies offer packages in the range of 4 LPA to 10 LPA with an average package being around 5 LPA. Placement wise, this college is certainly among the top colleges in Delhi.

Great college with balanced crowd and decent colleagues.

Placements: Placements were good here. Mass recruitment was done by Infosys, Accenture, etc. and after them many companies have come which offer packages ranging from 4.5-10 LPA. So, the average would somewhere be around 4 lakhs per annum. Around 80% of the students were placed. Some of the companies that came on campus where Microsoft, Aricent, CSC, Samsung, Hike, Snapdeal, Adobe, Steria, One97, Paytm, etc.

MSIT : Worth Every Penny!

Placements: The placements in MSIT as compared to other IP colleges are definitely way better. Infosys, HCL, Accenture are among the mass recruiters. Other companies like Impetus, Newgen Software Technologies, Compro, Samsung, TCS etc are regular recruiters. Microsoft also takes students (brilliant ones from CSE). The average package is around Rs. 4-5 lpa. And excellent packages go upto Rs. 8-9 lpa. Various roles like Software Engineer, System Analyst, System Engineer etc are offered to students. ...

It has a Book Bank from where you can get books for your whole semester, both library and Book Bank is equipped with Wi-Fi as well. It has air0conditioned laboratories, playgrounds, canteen and lifts that don’t work most of the time. Overall, it has pretty decent infrastructure. Faculty, in general, is above average. But I think self-study matters the most. Mostly people are placed into TCS and Infosys. Microsoft also comes to our college. In our college, people are more into development and at least in my batch, the students are hardworking.

MSI is one of the oldest colleges that falls under GGSIPU but even with that it has upgraded itself in the field of campus. We recently got a new and improved canteen. Food here and in the restaurants near the college is reasonably priced. The faculty of this college is very helpful and most important of all it has the best placement. Everybody ends up having more than 1 job in their hand in the last year.
