MGIT, the college you should know.
Placements: There are no better placements in the college. They provide normal placements between 4 to 5 Lacs package per year. Only 5% or 6% of people are getting placed. No better placements are provided by the college management of MGIT to the students.
Infrastructure: The faculty is very good, but there should be better infrastructure than at present. As per the hostel, the food is better than outside hostels, but in the college, the infrastructure should be modified. Better systems should be provided to them. There is no Wi-Fi facility for the students.
Faculty: As we talk about the exams, there are more exams conducted by them. This system should be changed. Due to this system, the students may get stressed, and no knowledge is stored by the students. They don't have much practical knowledge due to exam pressure. According to the semester, a maximum of 90 percent will be passed.
Other: There are fests in this college. The fests are very considerable, and there is a huge crowd during the fests held at the college.

Pros and cons of MGIT college.
Placements: Placements are better when compared to other colleges since it is one of the top colleges. The average package is 4 to 5 lacs per annum. And the highest package may go up to 15 to 20 LPA. TCS is one of our top recruiters. Students with CGPAs more than 8 will be given priority.
Infrastructure: College consists of 4 blocks, 2 stationeries, a canteen, a juice center, and a tea stall. The canteen consists of snacks, breakfast, and lunch items. A medical room is available for basic treatment and medicine. Every lab is well-equipped and has a Wi-Fi connection.
Faculty: Faculty is nothing less than top class. They have PhDs/postgraduate degrees. They help us clear our doubts and encourage us to try different things. The syllabus is covered according to the JNTUH instructions. The sem exam can be between moderate to tough. Pass percentage is 40%.
Other: I am interested in becoming a software engineer, so I chose this course. Here I get to learn new languages, which will help me develop. The computers are not that fast, which will test your patience.

Faculty: The teachers was well qualified . Nd quality was also a good .actually I was joined in mgit it was under jntu the correction of the jntu was worse . But now it became autonomous . The pass percentage was good, again it depends on you how u prepared for ur exams .

Completely satisfied with the teaching quality and placements.
Placements: In the year 2024, from our course, my seniors almost got placed in the campus placements, about 76 percent. The levels of the packages are great. The highest package was around 5 Lacs, the average package was 3.5 Lacs, and the lowest package was 3 Lacs. Accenture, TCS, Wipro, and Infotech Pvt. Ltd. are the top recruiting companies from our course. The students who did their internship in various companies are about 66 percent. The top roles offered are service development and code development.
Infrastructure: Our college was widely spread over around 30 acres of land with facilities like AC labs, seminar halls, libraries, free Wi-Fi around the entire campus ventilated classrooms project labs good water facilities, etc. The quality of the food available in the mess and canteen is amazing with reasonable prices and the hostel facilities are also great. The sports are played on the college ground every day, and medical services like ambulance and treatment are available in the college.
Faculty: Our course faculty are excellent with their proper explanation of the concepts to the students. Their teaching quality has been top-notch throughout the academics. Most of the faculty are highly qualified and well knowledgeable in their course. The course curriculum is really relevant because it is making many students industry-ready. The semester exams are not so difficult; we can pass easily. The pass percentage was around 75 percent.
Other: One of the best things about this course is that it will provide me with the best opportunities in the future so I chose this course. The things I wish, like good improvement in the laboratory equipment, are needed. The fests, events, farewells, freshers, crowd meetings, tours, concerts, etc. are the best enjoyment for the students.

A review by a passed out student .
Placements: 50% students got placements and some students go to abroad for higher studies and don't attend placements. The highest package was 12 LPA. The average package was 6 LPA. The lowest package was 3 LPA. The top companies that came to our college for recruiting are Wipro, Cognizant, Accenture, Invesco, and so on. Most students in my class didn't do the internships. Placements offers internships and if you perform well, they will provide full-time employment. Full-stack development, software engineer, programmer analyst, and data analyst are the top roles offered.
Infrastructure: The college has good infrastructure and each class has a projector. Each lab has a has a number of computers allocated to each student. Computers have LAN connections, and faculty have access to use Wi-Fi. Students can take books from library and they should submit those books within the specified time. The college hostel is very clean and hygienic. There are rules and timings for college hostels. The ground is present on the college campus and hostel .
Faculty: The faculty we have are very good professors and they are seniors and have vast experience in teaching. The course curriculum is based on JNTUH and now our college is autonomous. The curriculum has good courses, which will be helpful for jobs. The semester exams are not very hard; if we learn daily and listen to the classes, it will be enough to get good scores. The pass mark in the subject is 28 out of 75 marks and the other 25 marks are considered from midterm exams.
Other: I have chosen the Computer Science and Engineering course. This course is booming in industry now and I have had an had an interest in computers since childhood so I took this course. I think the course should include topics and practical knowledge that will help in getting jobs. Real-world projects should be done and suggested by faculty to gain good knowledge.
