This college offers great value for money with decent infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: Manipal has around 80% of students securing roles in industries related to robotics, automation, and ADAS systems. Top recruiters include Tata, Mahindra, Volvo, Bosch, Hyundai, etc., The highest salary package offered was 12 LPA - 15 LPA and the average salary package offered was 6 LPA-7 LPA. Many students also secure internships in top companies.
Infrastructure: Mechatronics department offers state-of-the-art facilities, including labs for robotics, automation, embedded systems, and ADAS. Campus has high-speed Wi-Fi, well-stocked libraries, modern classrooms, and comfortable hostel facilities with options for both shared and single accommodations.
Faculty: Faculty members at Manipal Institute are highly knowledgeable and experienced, with many holding advanced degrees and industry experience. They are generally approachable. Semester exams can be challenging but are fair, with a strong focus on understanding concepts rather than rote learning. Pass percentage is high.
Other: Crowds and fests in the college are outstanding and truly an experience.

Great course, Great facilities - especially for higher education, Decent placements.
Placements: From what I've heard from seniors, around 50-60% students get placed on campus, 20% off campus and the rest pursue higher education. The highest package: 10 LPA, the average package: 4-6 LPA, the lowest package: 2 LPA, Goldman Sachs, Deloitte, Accenture and TCS are the recruiting companies. Around maybe, 50-60% of the students intern are mostly doing internships in startups, like Barsys, Addverb Teach, TIF Labs, Avalon Labs but also Bosch-Rexroth. Currently or at least until 2-3 years ago, most of the students who got a decent placement did not get core mechatronics jobs, but rather programming etc.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available in almost all classrooms, and is decent working. But the labs are top tier, equipped with the best machinery needed for learning. My favourite is the robotics lab. Classrooms are clean, modern, air conditioned and not that big, which is great. They have a huge library that has got everything I've searched for so far and it's pretty modern too. Depending on the Hostel, facilities range from great to below average. As of my information, Blocks 17 and 19, they are some of the best you can get ,and I'm very much satisfied by the facilities provided. Everything is on time, complain are headed to and resolved quickly, and everyone is friendly. My Mess food (Food Court 2) is pretty good, and the 'canteen' food is off the charts amazing. As for medical facilities, there's a student clinic within the campus to handle general illnesses and the Manipal Hospital just a few metres outside the main gate and for Manipal Students, the basic treatment and checkup are completely free of cost even blood tests etc. You don't have to wait much for either of these, 10/10 for medical facilities. For sports, there's a lot of places you can access on and off campus as a MAHE student (not just MIT). There are courts for Badminton, Basketball, Tennis, huge grounds for athletics, cricket and football, a swimming pool and two gyms that I can think of almost all of the time, within the MIT campus. There are other grounds for all MAHE students. And a great sports complex and a gym called Arena, which has pretty much everything you would want in terms of sports, fitness, games etc. There are table tennis placed on every floor of the Hostel too.
Faculty: Most teachers are very helpful, and pretty knowledgeable. They are very genuine. The teaching quality varies from great to satisfactory, but you have to mostly learn on your own from second year onwards anyway. The course curriculum seems pretty relevant to me, they are teaching us based on the market needs and the curriculum is updated frequently, I guess once in every 2 years. Since they have tie ups with quite a few companies, what they teach seems like it will make us industry ready, although I can't be sure of that. The semester exams are decently difficult, around half the students fail the main exams. And around 10% of students fail the makeups too.

Satisfied, really good infrastructure, good mess food, easy going and at time harsh curriculum.
Placements: The average package of Mit is quite good. The companies which come on board are well reputed and students have fair chance to get placed in a good company with a good salary. Also off campus placements from manipal are quite good. You may prefer mit if you are willing to sit in placements.
Infrastructure: The campus has Wi-Fi which is operated by ibus. The speed of the Wi-Fi is between 30 to 70 always. And you have to pay extra for the Wi-Fi the price is included in hostel fare. Overall hostels are well maintained and the mess are quite good. You get authentic food in most of the mess. Classrooms are quite well developed and has AC in it usually teachers teach on a smart board.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful but you have to maintain your 75% attendance in all the subjects. Teachers usually teach on smart board. Course curriculum is well developed and makes a student industry ready. The end sem exams are quite difficult and for them you may need a few all nighters.
Other: My course deals with technology 4.0 which is an upcoming tech and has a lot of potential in future.

One of the best college experiences.
Placements: As of now from the information we were provided with, our seniors batch the highest placement for Mechatronics was 12lpa and the avg placement was 6lpa, which is pretty decent I feel. From the field of Mechatronics students have even applied to software fields.
Infrastructure: You have Wi-Fi all over the campus. Speed is pretty decent but sometimes it stop working. In Mess I would prefer Annapoorna>FC 2 supply chain> FC 1. As a first year if you want a comfortable life you can select block 16 or 17, if you want hostel life experience you should go with block 6 or 7 which will give you chhichhore vibes. The campus provides electric rickshaw service for people from the far away block, or you can use your cycle (walking is always better). The campus also has one of the biggest library I have seen till now, which includes the study area. Academic blocks are airconditioned and very well maintained. Labs are also well built and maintained.
Faculty: The teachers are most of the times helpful. Sometimes a few teachers are just teaching you for the sake of teaching but there are professors who will actually teach you till you understand it completely and you can contact them anytime. Most of the Professors are Ph.D. holders. The exams here are difficult, and a few subjects have a comparatively low passing rates.
Other: There are events and activities nearly everyday on our campus. Campus is clean and green. Everything you need in you daily basic life is inside the campus or right outside the campus. There are buses and rickshaw right outside the gate that take you wherever you want in the city.

Manipal, a great place to be!
Placements: I have chosen the batch of B.Tech in Mechatronics, which is an interdisciplinary branch with a mix of Mechanical, Electrical, and Computer Science. In terms of placements, around 70 percent of students in the course were placed. The highest package was around 18 LPA, and the average stands at around 10/11 LPA. The top recruiting companies include Flipkart, BEING, Goldman Sachs, Mercedes, etc. Internships were offered to around 90% of eligible students, and the top roles offered for a job are mainly Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET).
Infrastructure: The overall infrastructure of Manipal is world-class, ranging from amazing hostels to excellent classrooms. Manipal has stepped classrooms with centralized AC and a size that can accommodate around 90 - 120 people. The library is a 5-floor building containing books from all around the world, ranging from fiction to non-fiction. Floors 2 and 3 contain study halls for students to study at their own pace. There are several messes around the campus, and the food quality is great, with FC1 and FC2 being air-conditioned. The medical facilities include KMC, which treats MIT students for free under insurance. MIT has great sports facilities and teams for each sport participating in competitions around India and abroad. MAHE also has its sports complex named Arena, which operates on a subscription basis.
Faculty: The faculty present in Manipal is excellent, with all of them having graduated from top-notch colleges and excelling in research. The teaching quality is outstanding, with teachers always available for help and doubt-solving. Regarding the curriculum, it is very relevant to today's standards and is excellent for future prospects. Semester exams consist of two parts: midterms and end terms, totaling 100 marks. They are conducted on an E-Pad to go paperless. The exams are fairly moderate if you study well enough, with the combined passing percentage coming to around 70%, considering an average of all subjects.
Other: I chose Mechatronics because of my interest in the field of Robotics. Another reason was the branch's interdisciplinary nature, which includes Mechanical, Electronics, and Computer Science. One thing I would like my course to improve is the inclusion of VLSI design in the course curriculum. Talking about fests, we have two major fests throughout the year. One is the tech fest, which revolves around technology called Tech Tatva. The other is the cultural fest, Revel, which happens in the month of April. The crowd on the campus is great and diverse, coming from all parts of the world. The campus is surrounded by the Western Ghats and has several beaches nearby, making it a great place for weekends. Extracurricular activities include joining a Student Project or a Student club, which helps boost your resume and takes your learning beyond books, making it practical. The campus's connectivity is pretty good, with Udupi railway station being 5 km away, several buses traveling throughout India, and for flights, we have Mangalore airport, which is an hour away from campus.
