B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2013

Dissatisfied with the college because of bad placements and campus.
Placements: There were no placements for our batch and our senior's batch. When any student got a job on their own, the college sought their information and claimed it as college placement. Not a single company visited for our batch. There is a placement cell but it's not worthy at all.
Infrastructure: There was no Wi-Fi facility in the campus till 2013 when our batch was passing out of college, but after that, the college provided that facility. Labs are there for almost every stream, and there is good machinery in the mechanical workshop. Computer labs are above average, and hostel service was not available then. A small canteen was there with average quality of food.
Faculty: The college staff was helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. Some of the teachers used tricky approach to clear the topics. Workshop faculty were average. Faculty to student ratio was 1:60. We did not get any industry exposure and the course was not useful.

Completely satisfied with the college facility faculty and teaching but dissatisfied with placement.
Placements: There is no placement drive in our college on that year when I completed my course. Last year only one company participated and percentage of students placed is only 1% the highest and the lowest salary is 15k yes there is a placement cell but of no use condition of placement is worse.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good with modern classrooms and labs with Wi-Fi. Sports facilities is not available in campus. Quality of classrooms and labs are very good with fully air-conditioned labs. There is cabteen but closed only in 2-3 year of starting of college right now there is no canteen facility available and there us no hostel facility. No I didn't face any infrastructure related issues during my course years.
Faculty: Yes teachers are well qualified and very helpful. Teaching quality is upto the mark. Modern teaching methods are used with practical knowledge as well as theoretical. Student-faculty ratio is 20:1 yes during my course tenure we get industry exposure from well reputed industry like BHEL, MARUTI etc.

Everything is okay, but the placement is the worst.
Placements: There are no placements for the mechanical branch. Only a few computer science students got placed. Regarding the placements, this college is not good. In a class of 70 students, not even a single student got placed through the campus placement. The training and the guidance are not provided from the placement cell.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure on the campus is not good. All the facilities are average as per the fee structure of the college. The hostel and the canteen facilities are present, but that is also not too good. A few infrastructure issues are solved in the college during my tenure in the college, and they are improving a lot.
Faculty: Most of the faculty members are qualified, helpful, and knowledgeable, but a few are below average. A few faculty members have good teaching techniques. I got industrial exposure to a forging industry, but that is my only exposure in the 4th-year of my B.Tech. This college needs to improve a lot in this thing.
Other: This college is constantly improving as it started taking parts in the cultural events and the sports. Its fee structure is relevant. The location is the best thing about this college. The campus is not crowded.

The college has good infrastructure and faculty.
Placements: The placements are average as it is based on the performance of the students. Many of the students selected for defence too. The companies visit only on result basis. An average salary package which is offered around 10k to 12k per annum. The placement cell is not that good what it should be, but it is due to lack of quality of the students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good. New buildings are well ventilated and spacious. The library is well stocked, and labs are full of instruments, annual sport's meet is organised. A big ground with separate courts of volleyball, basketball, badminton and a cricket ground too. The total campus is Wi-Fi enabled.
Faculty: The best part is the faculty. All the teachers are well experienced and ready to serve any time. They invest their time in students for their best result. The faculty are knowledgeable and are very free with students. Teachers are used to take the lectures, and they finish the syllabus confidently. So there is no problem with the faculty. They are always available during the college hours.
Other: The fee structure is very good. The college also offers other courses like B.C.A, M.B.A and M.tech too. A well-built seminar hall and a wonderful meeting room is available in the college. The parking area is very good no problem of parking your vehicles. The college provides the chance to the students to take part in various functions and competitions. Regular company visits, site visits and surveys are done for better knowledge of the students.
