Madras Christian College: a colorful experience .
Placements: According to the seniors, the placement solely depends on your merit, but again, the college has enough exposure for each course, so it's easy for placements and applying. The college is ranked in the top 10, and the companies do prioritize the college, and they even conduct internship fairs for students to apply.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is amazing and up to par, the college being amongst the jungle, it just blends in, making the ambience of the infrastructure better; the washrooms/toilets are great and well maintained, and there is a lounge specially and only for female students. The canteen is good too; even the library is amazing. It has multiple research sections for students.
Faculty: The faculty members are amazing and very friendly; they don't treat a student like an outsider. The curriculum for journalists is based on real-life cases and situations, and the exams are difficult and different based on the very curriculum. There are 3 internals and one final examination in a semester. Out of 3, the best 2 are taken and accumulated with the final examination.

I am satisfied with infrastructure, placements etc.
Placements: There were 95 percent of students who passed in the college and were placed in good companies. For aided courses, the fee is 35,000 per year. For self-financed courses, it is 59,000 per semester. HCL and Amazon are some of the companies that recruit here. 95 percent of students are placed in internships. Statistics for data analytics is a popular course.
Infrastructure: There are many facilities in Madras Christian College, like computer facilities, laboratory facilities, hostel facilities, and Wi-Fi connection facilities. There are many sports facilities for kabaddi, cricket, football, volleyball, badminton, etc. The canteen is amazing.
Faculty: The teachers are good; they are qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching was easy to learn from and helped us gain more knowledge easily. It makes the students industry-ready. The semester exams were a little tough. If we learn, it is easy. The pass percentage is 40 percent per semester.
Other: I chose this course to become a statistician. I want to improve my typing speed on the computer. There are many events occurring in the college. Extracurricular activities like sports, NSS, and NCC are available.

Really good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: The percentage of students placed in our course is above 80%, and the highest average package offered for our course is nearly 8 LPA. The lowest average package is 3 to 5 LPA, and top roles include academic researchers, lecturers, zoologists, and animal nutritionists, etc.
Infrastructure: The college has good facilities for hostellers with a proper menu offering a variety of food items. Medical staff are also present in the college, and there are multiple grounds for sports, equipped labs, stocked library, and pleasant infrastructure on the campus.
Faculty: The course curriculum is relevant and prepares students for the industry. The difficulty of the semester exams is very high, so we have to study throughout the year. The pass percentage is above 70%, and the teachers are very helpful to students. The teaching quality is good, with well-qualified teachers holding PhDs and doctorates, etc.

Best place to study to get evolved in life.
Placements: There are many opportunities for internships given by the college at different levels. There is a dedicated placement cell working all day to ensure that the future of the students of Madras Christian College is secured. Many passed-out students of Madras Christian College are now working in diverse and big companies.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available for our department are top-notch. From having our own dedicated classes to having our own department library. The lab systems are all in great working conditions. The hostels in this college called Halls are just beyond one's expectations. They have great facilities and food, 24/7 electricity, un-disrupted availability of water, Wi-Fi available, gym available, cycle available, etc. The Hall life is amazing.
Faculty: The teachers are well qualified and very helpful. The curriculum is well picked, keeping in mind the future of students and the ever-changing opportunities and technologies. Exams are conducted according to the schedule without any disruptions. The questions are made in a way that it would be easy as well as would also test the knowledge of the students in every way, thereby making them ready for the future.

Absolutely satisfied! Definitely go for it .
Placements: 50–70% of students get placed. Maximum students get internships in the top IT companies. Students can become researchers, professors, writers, etc. Top companies are the telecalling and accounting companies. 60% of students got placed in the jobs offered by our college. Passed students are mostly selected for jobs.
Infrastructure: Our college has all the facilities, and the infrastructure was very good. And our college has wi-fi connections, has separate labs for all the science courses, and classrooms are spacious. We have a wide enough library with thousands of books, have 2-3 wide playgrounds, and have an infirmary for medical things.
Faculty: Our teachers are very talented, qualified, and knowledgeable and are friendly and helpful to their students. Teaching is very good and understandable, and they prepare their students for their future as well. Semester exams are easier as we get enough notes and time. 50% is the pass percentage.
Other: I chose this course to gain knowledge about new things. The best things are that it develops our reading and writing knowledge, and also students preparing for UPSC exams are in my course. Our college has several events and feels are affordable, and campus is the best ever thing in college as it is full of trees and blissful in nature. We do provide many extracurricular activities and courses.

B.A. in Political Science - Batch of 2025
3.8
3Placements4Infrastructure4Faculty4Crowd & Campus Life4Value for Money
Culture at the core: A college with a long legacy.
Placements: In my Department (Political Science), most students go for higher studies. Only a few opt for placements. Anyhow, internship and placement opportunities are actively circulated among students from their second year. The placement cell in our college does a good job of conducting seminars on the same for students from all departments. Campus recruitment is also available. But mostly only the students from departments like BBA and B. Com will make use of it.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are average. The college has a history of over 175 years. This means that most of the buildings are old. However constant upgrades and additions are made to the campus. A very recent addition is the MRF Innovation Park. A smart classroom is set up in almost all classrooms and departments. There is a separate building for the media and communication departments. The syllabus for Political Science covers almost all topics and the faculty members are also amazing. The quality of the syllabus and faculty members will vary with departments. The hostel in MCC is also very nice. We follow a student-run system and hence we call our hostels halls. We have six Residential halls. Food in the hall is average. Students are encouraged to participate in a lot of cultural and sports events that the college or hall may organize. Residents have more events and opportunities inside the college compared to non-residents. Athletes get free accommodation in halls. But the college facilities need an upgrade.
Faculty: Political Science department faculty members are very knowledgeable and the way they interact with students is also appreciable. All of them are alumni of our college. They have an in-depth knowledge of the subject. They also provide the students the space to express their views and opinions.
Other: MCC is known for its cultural activities and its liberal culture. We have over 30 departments and 6 Residential halls. Each department and hall has its events. The College Cultural Event is Deepwoods. Apart from this we also have other events like aurora, hall meet, etc. This means that the campus will be active throughout the year.
