Placements: After completion of the 4 years of course and one year of paid internship, you are already earning. The internship itself gives you Rs. 20,000 per month job, then you can go for the optional, housing staff-ship while preparing for the postgraduate, or you can join a hospital. So anything you do would fetch you higher than your internship period at least.
Placements: The college provides MBBS degree under the West Bengal University of Health Sciences. After the completion of the course, all the students are eligible doctors and can join the government health service, though many prefer to join as house-staff in tertiary institutes and prepare for their postgraduate entrance examination. Placements: You need not worry about placements after being graduated from a Government Medical College. 100% students are placed in own hospital as interns, after that house staff. Apart from own college, local nursing homes are also available. Some of the students crack PG entrance and got chance in AIIMS PGI, AFMC, and other government, and private postgraduate colleges also.
Placements: The internship is mandatory in MBBS course. The stipend is almost Rs. 20,000 per month. This period is for the development of skills of a doctor. After the internship, a student can take the house staff-ship for developing the skill in any particular speciality. The doctors can make choice speciality and college, but counselling will be based on the marks of clinical subjects in the final MBBS exam. During the internship, every student will learn the various skills of 'Healing Art'.
Placements: It is one of the best medical colleges in Asia and the oldest one. It has a high reputation throughout the world. The graduates from this institution got placed in the various government and private hospitals throughout the world. As it is a government institution, the internship stipend is fixed by the government. It is around 20K per month. One can do house staff-ship in this institution after completion of the course and internship.
Placements: At least 90% of the students get the internship in their running year as a regular candidate. The stipend offered is nearly Rs. 21,000. It is very useful for the students, and they can learn a lot of things in this period.
Placements: This is a medical college, and the placements are not offered to the students. But, the students prepare for the post-graduate entrance exam for admission into the MD and MS courses. It is a prestigious college in the country and every year on an average, 50-100 students out of a batch of 250, secure seats of postgraduate in other medical colleges all over the country.
Placements: The batch of 2013 of this college is doing the internships in the academic year 2017-2018. They got around 17k at the time of their internship. After which, they get a salary of about Rs. 32,000. Then the doctors can join in any government hospital and start getting a salary of about Rs. 55,000 to Rs. 60,000.
Placements: 70-75% of students got placed in our course. The highest package offered was 75,000 per month, the average package offered was 67,000 per month, and the lowest package was 59,000 per month. Some top recruiting companies are Apollo, M.Ed Kinds etc. Approximately 50% of students got internships, and mostly in Apollo. The top role offered is a doctor assistant.
Placements: A significant number of students go on for completing their postgraduation. Some students join duties as medical officers in hospitals or nursing homes. MBBS students have to complete their compulsory rotatory internship for 12 months in order to get a degree.
Placements: The college placement and salary packages are good. ITEL recruit most of the students.80% of the students got internship from our course in various companies. Good placement opportunities are provided.
Placements: Almost 40% of the students got an internship. The stipend offered is Rs. 19,000 per month, and for all departments, the stipend offered was Rs. 30,000 per month. Our college has a political atmosphere, but it is not mandatory for students to participate in political activities. Student's union is helpful.
Placements: After internship everybody gets a chance to apply for public health sector units to work in the rural areas, but many chose to drop a year or two for post graduate entrance exam preparation cause that is what is more important because at the end people wants to get treated by a specialist not a general physician.
