Great college, for studying, student activities, and placements. But infrastructure isn't very good.

Placements: There is decent placement scenario. Around 70% of the total students are directly placed, whereas it is above 90% for the CSE department, and the figures are increasing every year. Major companies like TCS, CTS, IBM, WIPRO, Accenture have been a part of on-campus placements. Average package is decent enough and varies each year.

MSIT a Good College with Good faculty members and Good Infrastructure.

Placements: The Placement of the previous batches is happened good so far according to the situation of the current technology market. Around 75% students are placed of the 2017 pass out batch and around 60% students are placed of 2018 pass out batch. Also, many students are gone for higher studies in well-known institutes and also abroad. The well-known companies like TCS, CTS, CGI, Microsoft, Intel, ThoughtWorks, MINDTREE etc. Came to our college for recruitment. The salaries offered to students are start...

The infrastructure is good, and the faculty is supportive of the students in their difficult times.

Placements: The placements are good on the campus. Every year, 60% of the students get placed. Out of 120 students, 50 got placed this year, and 19 students got placed in core companies. The placements are not only in civil engineering but also good in the other departments also.

A College with many good qualities.

Placements: The placement scenario for our college was really good till 2016, almost 65% students got placed in MNCs. From ECE 43students got placed out of 65 eligible students. But after that our main recruiter TCS stopped mass recruitment from our college and due to this our placement deteriorated really badly, only 13 students from ECE got placed in 2017. The mass recruitment of TCS has stopped in our college as they have downgraded our college from category B to category C by judging the college on vari...

Meghnad Saha Institute of Technology provides better placement than other colleges in Bengal.

Placements: From my experience, I would say the placement is quite good compared to other colleges in West Bengal. In the year 2017, about 150 students out of 400 students from B.Tech were placed in different companies. Previous records were far better than our academic year. In 2015, almost 350+ students were placed in top MNCs. Although most of my batchmates got the job in reputed MNCs like IBM-GBS, TCS, Capgemini, CGI, Bentley etc. I was placed in IBM-GBS. Also, few core companies came here like Robert B...

Average but can do something more.

Placements: It is described by one word average. Placement in our ECE department is better comparing to another departments. I think placement in CSE, ECE, EE department are good and each department are trying to do something better for Students. But when I see to our overall placement, then it's be average.

Good faculty and course curriculum, average placement in 2017, not so good infrastructure.

Placements: Well, I am now in the 3rd year. I can't suggest about other departments but my department's faculty are very good and impressive, and there is a good opportunity to get a job. There is also a training and placement cell which is quite good. In this year, 30% of the students of civil engineering department got a job.

This is one of the best engineering colleges of Kolkata.

Placements: The placement is of the average rate. You have to score well in a semester and collect some number of certificate like all the other colleges. The placements were good until last year. The seniors are good and well-behaved as they all help the juniors in every manner, and can feel free to them.

The faculty members are very good, but we are facing some problems with placements.

Placements: Last year, the placements in the college average. It's seriously a big issue as per the market, it's also not in a good position, so the placement department is facing some problem that's why I'll always say the department is trying very much, but not getting the results. The placement department is good, but the placement is not good.

Current placements are good enough, and the faculty members are very good. Infrastructure is solid.

Placements: We know the current situation of our placements in all companies, basically, in private colleges. If you study the last 2-3 year placement report, then you can't find too many students who are placed. As a student of this college, we are proud to say that 44 students were placed in the very nominate company like Cimplex, Gamon, L&T, Dalmiya Cement, etc. Till now, we hope to see some more placements in this current year, and in future, we will also get placed.

College is Good. College faculty is Good. But college campus is not big. Placement is quite good.

Placements: The placement in the college is good as every year 70% of students get placed. The major companies such as Wipro, TCS, Mahindra, etc., come to our college for placements. The students are placed in the big company, and the salary must be very well. Every day there is an increase in our placements, and the company come to our college.

Good and competing college with top-ranked universities.

Placements: Since we are in the third year, nobody is placed yet, but our seniors had got placements in some reputed companies. More than 50 percent of their batch got placed. Simplex often use to visit our campus. Every student uses to get an internship from college. No stipend is offered. There is an active placement cell.

Placement is average for the core streams, but faculty, lab, library, infrastructure are good.

Placements: Placements are not good enough for the core branches. But, 15 plus IT companies come here to recruit from all the streams and as well as 4 to 5 renowned core companies come here to recruit from the mechanical, electrical and civil branches. I also got placed into Simplex Infrastructures Ltd, from the ongoing core campus placements.

Good faculty with good placement.

Placements: Our placements in the college are yet to come. The placements for our seniors did take place, and IT companies like TCS do come, and core companies also come, but all the companies recruit less no. of students because to me they are more eligible and efficient than rest. So, the campusing in the college is okay.

Altogether, it is good in terms of study and things, average in terms of placements.

Placements: It was really good in last few years, but recently it is reducing as companies are not turning up for the mass requirement. If someone has the potential, then he or she will surely get placed. As of my batch, some of the mates are already placed in different companies.

Moderate campus life with lots of opportunities.

Placements: I have been studying in MSIT for 2 years, and I will talk about these two years, the year 2016-17 pass-out batch: Actually in that year, the placement was good in the aspect of the private college. The students who were worth it even got placed in the companies like Microsoft, Siemens. In the year, 2017-18, pass-out batch, In 1st semester ( 7th sem for them ), the placement was very disappointing, and this was not only in our college but also to the other college students like NSEC, TISL, etc. T...

This college was the best private college for the civil department in WB.

Placements: The placements are average at the moment. Few companies are taking a huge bundle of students that's why it's a little bit difficult for the students to get placed. Some good companies came like Microsoft, Cerner, Mindtree etc. Overall it is a good placement in this year though the market situation is not good.

Meghnad Saha Institute of Technology is one of the leading civil engineering colleges.

Placements: The placement in the past has made a mark in the history of Bengal. The core stream placement was not satisfactory. Presently the condition of placement is pathetic. The scenario is same for the most of the engineering colleges in the nation. You need to stand out from the crowd to get placements.

Journey of 4 beautiful years in the college.

Placements: Well, as I am from CSE department so the overall placement is pretty satisfied and up to 60% of the students from the department has placed. Even the companies like Microsoft, Intel has come to the college for placements though they recruited only 10 students, at least the students have the opportunity to seat in these companies.

A waste of money and of future.

Placements: Nowadays the scenario of placement has been changed slightly. Before 2 years, up to 50% students got placed in companies, but now it seems to be 20% because MNC companies have decreased their recruitment. Companies like TCS, CTS, IBM came to recruit students, but now maximum 1 company came to recruit students, and the number is very less.
