Satisfied with the faculty members, but don't expect placements from the college.

Placements: The placements are not that up to the mark. Actually, nowadays, the core engineering branches like civil and mechanical branches are a little bit down in the placements market, so it is not the fault of college. So, my suggestion is not to make mindset that you will definitely get a job after completing your B.tech degree.

The changing situation of anyone's life.

Placements: The placements have been tremendous before, but as we know that nowadays situation has been changed so did in this college also. Only IT companies have come for the placement. There is no core company here if anyone is having that then he/she from the core field can be placed. What they offer are only the IT companies.

Meghnad Saha Institute of Technology.

Placements: I have been placed in TCS. At our time, almost 200 out of 300 was placed. Mainly, the placement depends on IT company. We have seen that not much of core company visit the college. Now, the college is taking many new majors like they are trying to contact the student who has started a startup and all.

Meghnad Saha Institute of Technology is one of the glorious engineering colleges in India.

Placements: This year, the quality of placement is quite good than last 2 years. This year, 19 civil students got placement in core companies. The placement of mechanical department and the electrical department is till now 0. Also, there is no news of good placements of BCA and BBA departments.

Meghnad Saha Institute of Technology, a place where you can learn your course well.

Placements: Now I am in the 6th semester, and the placement of us will be held in next semester, after July'19. The current status of placement of the final year students is not very good as the maximum number of them could not get a job in the IT sector or in another sector. This year, the final year students from mechanical engineering and electrical engineering could not get a job in any core company.

This college is satisfactory only for the faculty. The placements are average.

Placements: The placement is average. If you are in the top 10 of your respective department, then hardly there is a chance to get placed. So its always better to score good marks or better grades from the very first semester. The training and placement cell is also supportive. It is always hard to get the students placed in various companies.

Pretty much satisfied with the college life.

Placements: Before 4 to 5 years, it was a tremendous, but nowadays the scenario has been changed. This year, the placement rate is about to 20-25%. But they are trying to make it into more, and this will maybe happen. The student should remember the one thing that if they want placement, then they should choose the CSE or IT department. The students, who got placed are from those branches itself.

There is a really good infrastructure and facilities but average placements.

Placements: On-campus placement has degraded over the past few years because of high demands of the company which this college fails to fulfil. Although compared to many colleges, it still has decent placement but to be honest, you have to be prepared for an off-campus placement. Now the college doesn't provide the percentage, but the major placements and internships occur off-campus. The highest salary offered was 13 LPA, whereas most of them got a starting salary of Rs. 20,000 per month to Rs. 25,000 per ...

Good faculty, decent placements, MAKAUT syllabus

Placements: Placements are decent in this college. Nowadays, only if you are a good engineer and not just an engineer, you will be placed. Students from this college start getting opportunities from the sixth semester itself. The college too helps the students in getting trainings from certain institutes, which in return helps the students in getting internships and jobs. The technical club of this college- Megatronix too organises workshops related to both technical and non-technical fields. Students have ...

Poor placement in 2017. No eminent company is coming to the college for placements.

Placements: This year's placement is not up to the mark, especially for CSE and IT department. The students are only getting a job from the pool or centralized campusing. No company is coming to our college, so it is a bit tough year for MSITians! But we are hoping things will get better in the next year and the students will get better opportunities because MSIT is one of the top-notch colleges in Kolkata for engineering.

Really good infrastructure and facilities

Placements: It is one of the top five private engineering colleges in West Bengal. Top recruiters like TCS, Microsoft, IBM and much more visit the campus. Obviously, you need to be eligible to attend in those. Nowadays, companies offer a 6-month internship to the students after selecting them, after 6 months based on their performance they finally offer the job.

Meghnad saha institute of technology as a college.

Placements: When I joined the college, it was a grade B college. TCS did pool recruitment. Other companies like Ericson, Microsoft recruits college students. This year itself a senior from CSE got 10 lakh package from Microsoft. From mechanical five people got simplex. Companies like simplex, Capgemini are there for the core group. Average package was around 3.25-3.75 lacs per annum.

When all colleges are degrading or upgrading, there is MSIT which stands with the students.

Placements: Pool campusing is organized wherein all the pupils from Techno India associated colleges would come for an interview and probably fight for just 10 seats. Many software companies come but there is a huge lack of core industrial companies. Moreover, out of 65 students, only 4 had secured a job through the campus interviews from the recent mechanical pass out batch. The placement cell is little helpful. They would help but not much. Overall, you need to push your limits every time to get a job. ...

Neither very good nor very bad, you can go for it.

Placements: Placements are average here, neither very good nor very bad. hey take 10000 for placement assistance, yet they do not guarantee the placements. Last year, the highest placement was in Microsoft at 10 lakhs and the lowest placement was 30 thousand.

Good college for knowledge. Semester fee is too high, otherwise okay.

Placements: In my batch, 70% of students got placed in campus placements. The highest salary was offered by IBM at 6.8 lacs/annum and the lowest salary was offered by Cognizant at 2.3 lacs/annum. All IT companies come here like Tech Mahindra, IBM, TCS, Cognizant and Infosys. All students of our batch have got the internship from our college. The highest stipend was offered by Moma Scholarship at about Rs 30,000 and the lowest stipend offered was Rs 10,000.

Placements: College placements are average. 60% of students our last senior batch have been placed. The highest salary was offered by IBM at 5.9 lakh/annum and the lowest salary was offered by Infosys at 3.2 lakh/annum. IBM, Cognizant, TCS, Indian navy, Infosys and others small IT companies visited our campus. All of the students have got internship programmes. The highest stipend offered is rupees 30000 and the lowest stipend offered is rupees 15000.

Infrastructure of knowledge is good, not the exterior.

Placements: For being under the Techno Group, placements are not a major issue in this college like the other private colleges. Almost 65-75% students usually get placed every year, but after the sudden downfall of worldwide IT recruitment, the percentage of placements got decreased this year. Hardly 40% students got placed in various companies. Concerning the packages of the companies, most of them offer almost 3 lakhs per annum(LPA). Placements: The placement scenario of this college is average. If you have the caliber you will definitely get your desired job. The placement scenario in CS, IT and ECE is good. Almost 60% students are placed. Many companies visited us like Cognizant, CGI, Bentley, Robert-Bosch, Johnson and Johnson, Thoughtworks etc.

Placements: Placements in our batch were not good. At most, 20% students are placed till now. Though our senior batch got good placement. Almost 75-80% students are placed from the previous batch. This year placement was not because of the IT market. TCS, CTS, IBM and many other companies visited.

Satisfied with the college during these 4 years

Placements: Placements of core students are very few, around 10 to 20 percent. Only a bunch of IT companies come and recruit both IT and non-IT students in the campusing. If you have got a good rank then don't choose this college for electrical engineering.
