Review of Meri College of Engineering and Technology - MERI CET.
Placements: Almost 60% of the students got placed in B.Tech ECE, till now. Till now the highest salary package offered was 6 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Cent, Qspider, Bitwise, and Infosys. A lot of students got internships in Qspider. Software engineer is the top role offered.
Infrastructure: Facilities in our college are very good, and if I talk about infrastructure, it is also good. Labs almost have everything, but the Wi-Fi range is not good. Classrooms and library are clean. The canteen food is fine, and a bit costly. Medical facilities are good, and sports facilities are also available.
Faculty: All the teachers are qualified, helpful, and knowledgeable. The overall teaching quality is very good. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready because there are many drives and on-field experiences. Semester exams are moderate if students study well. The pass percentage is more than 70%.

It is not the best place to study.
Placements: My batch was the first batch of electronics and communication engineering. The entire premises and connecting roads were under development when we joined. Placements available not only for my stream but also other streams were a big zero. No company visited the college to conduct placement drives.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is not much good. A huge building is present on campus. Wi-Fi is not available at all. Air-conditioners are available in classrooms only for name sake. I never saw it working. The canteen food is not at all good. Only samosa and sandwich are I ever had from there.
Faculty: The faculty members are average. The exams were scheduled at regular intervals. But the faculty show partiality in giving internal marks. Other students stole my lab file, and I had to create a new one. Functions were organized under tents from local shops. I have never attended any function.
Other: It is not the worst place, but not at all a good place. I suggest opting for a good reputed college if possible.
