Review of Mithibai College of Arts.
Placements: It had training and placements cell that helps students find jobs on-campus. From the third year onwards, training and placements cells offer internship or placements opportunities, as well as resume writing, interviewing, and dressing etiquette. They also provide practice sessions on interview rounds and give feedback on the areas where the student needs improvement. In addition, tests and interviews were being undertaken. Delloite, Infosys, and Barclays were among the organisations that visit campus with stipends ranging from 3 LPA to 6 LPA. The typical annual salary package offered ranges from 3 LPA - 4 LPA. Aside from technical positions, the organisation also offers sales and marketing positions, analysts, etc., and students who applied for placements had all received it.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure was good. There were various facilities provided to the students by the college i.e library, activity room, health services, canteen, gymkhana, classrooms, auditoriums, laboratories, elevators, washrooms, water coolers, security and safety, etc. Library houses a large collection of books, encyclopedias, journals, CDS, and other reference materials. It was air-conditioned throughout and equipped with cutting-edge technology such as Wi-Fi and digital video recording cameras. The college had a doctor on staff to care for both employees and students. The canteen was large and offers sanitary vegetarian cuisine at a reasonable price. In addition, there was a cake shop. In the high-tech classrooms, which were centrally air-conditioned and had decent seating and lighting, the college had developed successful teaching methods. As instructional tools, smart boards, LCDs, and OHPs were used. The Juhu Jagruti Hall and Mithibai Seminar Hall were good centrally air-conditioned venues with cutting-edge acoustics, lighting, and sound systems. It had a seating capacity of 114 people. Statistics department laboratories were large and well-equipped with air-conditioners, smart boards, high-tech computers for practical and research work and they also provide scientific calculators.
Faculty: Mithibai's Statistics department teachers were well qualified. The majority of them had earned Ph.Ds in their specialties. Teaching methods include the use of technology such as smart boards as well as excellent presentation and communication skills. The professors were friendly and helpful. Probability bio-statistics, hypothesis testing, sampling, estimation, distribution functions, operational research, programming software like R and Python, and other topics were covered in the course curriculum and will remain important in the future. The course will provide students with valuable insights and knowledge into several sectors of statistics. Exams for the semester were not very demanding. Students can simply get started with the semester exams if they were focused and attentive during lectures. Students can access the past semester's question papers to get an idea of the exam. The majority of students pass their semester exams, with only a few failing certain topics.
Other: Mithibai had a vibrant student body. College fests were open to students to attend and organise. Almost every department hosts an annual event that was organised entirely by students. Kshitij, Mithibai's annual fest was Asia's fastest growing college fest, organised and managed entirely by students. Students can work in any department, including graphic design, marketing, sales, public relations, finance, and social media management. Students who participated in volunteering work were given attendance for their missed lectures and were also provided with the certificate. Annual events like Kshitij often had celebrities as a guest. The statistics department at Mithibai also hosts a festival where students participate in poster-making competitions, quiz competitions, presentation competitions, etc. Fun activities like food zone, gaming activities were also part of such events.

There is a really good infrastructure and extracurricular activities.
Placements: Placements are quite good in Mithibai College. There are many internships opportunities for students to enhance their skills. Top companies which visit here are Deloitte, JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley, etc. All of my friends who applied for internships got them with a salary package of 4 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is one of the main characteristics of Mithibai College that attracts students. The cleanliness level is great, and there is Wi-Fi for college students. There is a Jitendra library in our college. There is a canteen on the campus, but I think it is a bit costly.
Faculty: Professors are very helpful in Mithibai. Attendance rules are very strict in Mithibai, so if you don't fulfill attendance criteria, then you will get debarred.
Other: KSHITIJ is Mithibai's annual cultural festival which is Asia's greatest cultural festival. So, if you join Kshitij committees, then you will definitely enjoy and learn many things which your core syllabus doesn't teach.
