In the metallurgy department, we have decent placements, But as we know there are limited opportunities in core sectors so basically most of the students opt for tech placements.

NIT Jaipur is the best college in Jaipur.
Placements: NIT Jaipur is the best college for me and the metallurgy branch. Here, a lot of opportunities are there. There are 77 students in my class. The highest salary package offered is around 55 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is around 5 LPA - 6 LPA. The average salary package offered is around 10 LPA - 12 LPA. Here, a large number of students got internship opportunities in CSE, ECE, and EE, but metallurgy students got the highest number of placement opportunities. Top recruiting companies of this college are Microsoft, Amazon, Tata Steel, Reliance, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very good and well-maintained. Here, the hostel facility is great. It has Wi-Fi, clean rooms, and a mess facility. The library is also very well-maintained. It has a lot of books. Medical facilities are also there in our college. Our college provides many facilities for sports like basketball, volleyball, badminton, etc.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and supportive. They are highly qualified and very friendly to students. They are very cooperative. The B.Tech course is for 4 years. In this course, we have 8 semesters. Semesters are very helpful for job preparation. The difficulty level of semester exams is moderate and depends on professors and your preparation level.

Good infrastructure will all the facilities, good social life and placements.
Placements: In my course, that is, metallurgical and materials engineering, the placement percentage is around 75 percent. The highest package offered in metallurgy this year is 27 LPA, the lowest is 5 LPA, and the average is around 10 LPA. The top recruiting companies are JPMC, Micron Technology, Z-Scale, JSW Group, Vedanta, Tata AIG, AU Small Finance Bank, etc. Around 50 percent got internships, and the top roles may vary.
Infrastructure: All the necessary facilities are available in the college, from Wi-Fi to the library, good classrooms, a computer center, medical facilities, and good sports infrastructure. The quality of new hostels is very good, while the quality of old hostels is average. The mess food provided is manageable; sometimes it's good and sometimes bad.
Faculty: All the professors are well-qualified, knowledgeable, and quite helpful, while you may not find the teaching style of a few professors so good. The course curriculum is very much relevant. We do have industry visits as well. Definitely, for placement in core sectors, all the courses are designed in a way to make the students industry-ready.
Other: I chose this course because this is the best course I'm getting at my rank. The infrastructure is good, the environment is quite happening, and the best thing about my course is that it is easy compared to other courses in the college, has fewer classes, and we got more time to invest somewhere else. The fests of MNIT are well damn good. The campus is located in the heart of the city. We have all the facilities of the city on our campus.

There are good placements in every branch. Infrastructure is also good.
Placements: Approximately 85% students were placed in my course. The highest, the lowest and average packages offered were 40 LPA, 5.4 LPA and 10 LPA respectively. Top companies are Vedanta and Reliance Jio. Approximately 10-20% of students got internships. Some students go for off-campus internships. Top roles offered are that of data analytics, etc.
Infrastructure: All the facilities are good including labs, Wi-Fi, classrooms and library. Quality of food in the mess is bad. Many times, insects are found in the food. Many students complain about the same but they are not taking any action against it. Medical, sports and games facilities are good. They organize tournaments related to sports regularly.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is decent. The course does not make the students industry ready because they teach only for salary and not to give knowledge to the students. Some teachers are so selfish that they fail the students in the exams due to their personal anger issues.

Overall the college is nice and also has decent hostel and mess facilities.
Placements: I have opted for metallurgical engineering, which covers a wide aspect of knowledge where they include the study of fuels, cases, and various types of rocks. Talking about the faculty, they are good and skilled enough and have a very unique way of teaching. They are also very helpful. Exams are semester-wise. In every semester, we have to give two examinations: midsem and endsem, which have a weightage of 30% and 50% respectively, along with 20% weightage of internal marks.
Infrastructure: Campus life at MNIT is very great. Students could learn how to deal with a large amount of crowd and it could also help them to remove stage fear and also help them to improve their communication skills along with their character development. There are various clubs through which students can pursue their hobbies in college. The infrastructure is great. MNIT has Asia's largest lecture theatre complex.
Faculty: According to me, the course curriculum is completely relevant. The branch I have chosen along with the laboratories are happening regularly every week, which helps one to develop an understanding of the subject and have very deep knowledge about the fact and the concept of the subject they are proceeding in.

Good infrastructure, great hostel life, hectic academics, a big campus, and a wonderful location.
Placements: In my course, last year, 2024-25 batch placements were about 75%. The highest salary package offered is 26 LPA by ZScaler. The lowest salary package offered is 5 LPA by RHI Magnesite. The average salary package offered is about 9.5 LPA. Top recruiters in the core sector are JSL, JSW, Vedanta, Reliance, AMNS, etc. Non-core companies like Accenture, Dassault, JPMC, Q3 Technologies, Future First, Axxela, AU Small Finance Bank, etc., visit the college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure here is good. Every department has a separate lab. There are fully air-conditioned rooms for classes. There are 15 to 16 hostels. Some hostels are old, but repairs are done from time to time. 1st year gets Drona H7 and Aravali H15 Hostel. A 3 seater room is available in the 1st year. From the hostel's point of view, the food at Drona is the best. There is a central canteen. Almost every sport has a separate ground. All sports facilities are available. There is also a dispensary.
Faculty: Teachers have a lot of knowledge. Some teachers are very strict but some students are also friendly. I do not believe that this course makes students industry-ready because the course is very old. In one semester, there are two exams. Mid-term exams are held for 30 marks and end-term exams are held for 50 marks. The passing mark is nearly 35.
Other: I chose this course as per my JEE rank. In our course, there is a lot of free time compared to other branches. There is one technical fest named SPHINX and one cultural fest named BLITSLAG. Connectivity is 2 km away from the campus Gandhi Nagar railway station. Our college is 5 km from the airport and 10 km from Jaipur Junction Railway Station. There are many scholarships for students.
