Top recruiters do not prefer the ICE branch as most have not heard of it, But still, companies like Samsung, SCB, Amazon can allow sitting for placements.

Experience at NITJ as a first year student.
Placements: The latest placements of the 2024 batch are pretty good, with a placement percentage of around 92 percent, and the highest package is 26 LPA, the median package being 7.5 LPA, and the average package is 10.2 LPA. The top recruiter is NVIDIA. Internship opportunities are a little less, mostly for top 15 to 20 percent students only, but many students get off-campus internships.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good, as all the classrooms are AC and very neat and clean. There is problem with Wi-Fi as it will not work in your classrooms I don't know the reason; even most mobile networks are also not available in classes. Again, the reason is unknown for me till now. I am in BH1 hostel, and the infrastructure and facilities of Wi-Fi, mess, and sports are good. There is a computer room, sports room, badminton, and volleyball court within the hostel itself.
Faculty: Teachers are pretty helpful some teachers try their best for giving quality education but some don't care about it. Exams are of moderate level and depend on teacher itself. Also, in every semester, you have to score 40 marks out of 100 to pass. There are some steps taken to make course industry-ready, as one or two core subjects are taught from first year so the first year is not all about revision of what you have studied in previous classes. Additionally, all the teachers here have Ph.D.s in their field so they are well qualified.

The College Is Excellent for Me as It Provides All the Basic Needs
Placements: 91.67 percent of students were placed in the ICE branch. The highest package was 26 LPA, and the average package was 10.63 LPA. Top companies recruiting from our college include Samsung, Bharat Petroleum, Adobe, Adani, HMEL, Aarti Industries Limited, Vedanta, Reliance, Flipkart, Nayara, TCS, Emphasis, and Allen. Out of the placements, 39 students received IT sector offers, 58 students got core sector offers, and 1 student received a non-core sector offer.
Infrastructure: There was Wi-Fi throughout the campus, including in the hostel, classrooms, library, seminar hall, and other buildings. The labs were well-organized and clean, with all the necessary instruments. Classrooms were also well-organized, equipped with AC, Wi-Fi, and projectors. There are two libraries on campus, both equipped with excellent Wi-Fi and AC. The hostel facilities were excellent, except for some older hostels. The hostel has all the necessary amenities, and the quality of food is good, including in the canteen. There is a dispensary on campus and an ambulance available in case of emergencies. Sports facilities are also good, with all types of game equipment and grounds available on the campus.
Faculty: The teachers are well-qualified and hold Ph.D. degrees. Their teaching quality is very good. The course is relevant, with 60-80% of the ICE syllabus being similar to ECE, which provides opportunities in both teaching and non-teaching roles. The semester exams are moderately tough, comparable to those in other prestigious colleges, and a minimum CGPA of 8 is required to sit for placements.

Life at NIT Jalandhar and about its campus life.
Placements: Like placements in ice branch are getting good year by year because of recruiters like BPCL and other psu are coming to nitj. In the year 2023 the placements of ice and ECE were literally same. Ice branch growing here very fast in nitj And also many students have GATE exam through it as GATE exam is easy through this branch.
Infrastructure: Like if we talk about course I can say it is pretty good like you will get all facilities. Now talking about hostel the hostels of first year were good but in the months of April to August you will leaving in condition of extreme hot and hostel do not have even permission of coolers and air fans. And the hostel from 2 and year to 4th year ar average .
Faculty: Faculty are literally good but some teachers are always there from which you can expect bad behaviour towards you mean a they will cut your marks and always do hard checking and also when they teach things go above your mind. But overall faculty is really good.
Other: Fests are average over here Crowd is so much in campus as it is 154 acre of campus .

Well detailed and explained review about NIT JALANDHAR.
Placements: As I'm a 2nd-year student, I've heard from seniors that placements are okay in the Instrumentation and Control Technology branch. Like it's the end of January, and approximately 30 students are placed out of approximately 110. The lowest package is around 3.5 LPA, and the highest is around 44 LPA.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure for some departments is very nice, like Information Technology, Electronics and Communication, Instrumentation and Control Technology. The library is okayish from the infra side, but a new library has been built that is nice, although it's not open yet. There are 4 canteens, all are nice, and there are both veg and non-veg canteens. The sports facility is also very nice, with inter-NIT tournaments, intercollege tournaments, etc.
Faculty: Teachers of the first year are not good; they are well-qualified and knowledgeable but don't teach in a nice way. However, from the 2nd year onwards, core subject teachers teach well. The course makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are moderate to tough as the syllabus is very large and time is less. The pass percentage is 40%.

Really good infrastructure and facilities in NITJ.
Placements: Texas Instruments, Accroloite, Wipro, Acko, Au Small Finance Bank, Tech Mahindra, and Infosys are some of the good-reputation companies that come to our college for placements. The average package of NIT Jalandhar is 12 LPA and the average package for the instrumentation and control engineering branch is 7 LPA, which is good and fascinating. Internship opportunities are not available for our branch; students have to arrange internships on their own.
Infrastructure: The college will not let you have any problems in terms of infrastructure. The quality of living and adapting to the environment in NIT Jalandhar is very easy, and students do not find any discomfort in living in NIT Jalandhar. Regular maintenance of the college hostel takes place every week. Washrooms and toilets were cleaned at regular intervals. No type of discomfort will be there in NIT Jalandhar. Wi-Fi, washing machines, laundry service, and a barber shop are there inside NIT Jalandhar, so there is no need to worry about these things.
Faculty: Passing exams for students in the instrumentation and control engineering branch is very easy. Most of the students score very high CGPAs in this branch. Most of the toppers are from the instrumentation and control engineering branch. Professors are very helpful and supportive; they will help you in every way. Professors will refer you to so many books but they will only refer you to one; otherwise, it will take more time to study simple concepts. If you refer to so many books, study wisely.

If you are getting admission in ICE in NITJ just go for it, man. First of all, it is one the rarest branches present in the country with lots of work and scope in the industry. Only 20k students appear for the GATE so you can get a PSU very easily. (Topper of ICE Gate 2018 is from NITJ along with 1
