Review of Motilal Nehru College (Evening), University of Delhi.

Placements: One would have to work out their passion and look out for placements opportunities. This college does not even have its annual internships fair. But this university offers various competitions at a very high frequency. Therefore one can earn from its competition prizes which are hefty in amount and may develop a good CV.

Motilal Nehru College is my dream college.

Placements: The placement cell is really very good. There are regular placements for students every year. The college organises trade fares and much more to provide students with an opportunity to get placed in various companies. Companies that provide placements in our college are Amazon, Wipro, FIS Global etc.

The campus is good, and there is no attendance.

Placements: Placements were not that great and students will not get jobs or internships in the evening college as the companies do not come to the evening campus. But if students make themselves registered on placements campus and had good connections, they can get interviews from the company. Students can also go for off-campus interviews. The package students will get will be around 3 LPA - 5 LPA. But very few students got these placements. The roles will be mediocre ONL, accounts, finance, and so on.

Our college is very good to take admission.

Placements: In our course, the last cut-off was 80%. The highest salary package is often provided to commerce students, and arts students won't be placed with any salary packages. Tata, Reliance and Wipro are top recruiters here. From our course, none of the students can get an internship as the purpose of it is to provide opportunities for students in various examinations and for higher studies also.

The campus is huge and green, and it is the highlight of the college. It provides average placements

Placements: The placement cell is available in our college, but it is not that great. As it is an evening college, it is as expected. Students here are not to get placement. LIC visited our college for placements before the COVID scenario, and they recruited some candidates with a salary of Rs. 20,000 per month. Here you will have the equal placement opportunity comparing to the B.Com course.

It has good infrastructure, and around 10-20 % of the students get placements.

Placements: Around 10-20 % of the students get placed from our college. If you score better in the exams, you can get placement. The salary package offered ranges from 1.5 LPA - 5 LPA. Top companies visit the campus for placements. No student got internships in the college. They offer internships for honors courses.

Campus life is good, but academics are average.

Placements: The placement cell is average. I am still to appear for placements. I heard if students have skills and want to get a job, they can get it. Many placement webinars and conferences are organised. They help students to know about how things work and what they can do to grab an offer.

All the teachers are well qualified.

Placements: Actually I don't know about placement in my college because the placement cell was newly formed and there is not so many students. But yes students got internship in small budget companies. The placement cell was newly formed in the end of 2020. But placement cell members/ organizer organised some events every month for members.

Studies are average. Enjoying college life is good. It has low placements but great infrastructure.

Placements: In the BA programme, students aren't placed very easily. The salary package offered starts from 3 LPA to 6 LPA. Mostly sales, telecalling customer service and marketing related jobs are offered for students of this course. Students can persuade law afterwards or can go for preparing competition exams like UPSC, SSC, CGL, etc.

Teachers, infrastructure and facilities are very good.

Placements: There are very few placement drives. I am in the 3rd year, and this year I never heard anything good reviews from seniors. Maybe many companies prefer the north campus for internships as it is an evening college.

Good in infrastructure with good teaching staff and also involvement in curricular activities.

Placements: 20 percent of students were placed in my course. The highest package was of Rs 15,000 per month with average of Rs 10,000. 30 percent students got internship in many companies like Exide, etc. The internship companies were called by the college and provided a good opportunity for us to learn.

I'm totally satisfied with my college life, my department and my teachers.

Placements: When I was in first year, I used to see seniors in formals and giving interviews but package was so normal. The placement cell has been started recently and I'm in third year now and due to lockdown the interviews has not been conducted yet but we have applied for placements and we'll get placement soon.

It is the best college to study, but the environment of college is not good.

Placements: There was no placement facility for students in the last 1 year. The highest and lowest salary packages offered are based on the college placement department. There was no internship facility before the last 2 year.

I loved my college life with my friends and it was a blast on fests and Freshers.

Placements: Placement Cell is not so good as there are less organisation for hiring. Placement cell needs to be more active and should approach some big brands to attract students to get admission in the college. Placement coordinator should be more engaged in arranging the placement with the organisation.

It is a satisfying college with a good education.

Placements: Academic marks are not calculated in terms of percentage in DU as CGPA system is used. In our course, students got 7.5 CGPA in the first year, and I got it, which is good in arts subject. At least 70 to 80 admissions are available in our course.

Eng hons a prestigious course.

Placements: There is no such placements for a literature graduate and no campus recruitment. The main scope of the subject is to be specialise in that particular field and hence there is many scopes after the graduation and Masters but placements for a English hons graduate is not done.
