B.E. / B.Tech | Candidate must have passed HSC (10+2) or its equivalent with above mentioned marks from any recognised Board/council. Candidate who have passed HSC i.e., 10+2 in any one of the Vocational Subject (Basic Mechanical Engineering/ Basic Electrical Engineering/ Basic Electronics Engineering/ Basic Civil Engineering/ Basic Automobile Engineering/ Textile Technology) with any one of the Engineering related subjects namely Mathematics, Physics or Chemistry with above mentioned minimum average percentage put together are also eligible to apply. |
M.E./M.Tech | Candidate must have completed B.E./B.Tech. in Civil Engineering/Civil and Structural Engineering. Candidate belonging to Tamilnadu BC, BCM, MBC, SC, SCA, ST category must have 45% in qualifying examination. Candidates with B.E./B.Tech. degrees obtained through Distance/Weekend mode are not eligible. Candidates with degree obtained without studying 10th/12th Std. or 3 years degree programme are not eligible. Candidates appearing for the final semester/year are also eligible. |

UG Degree (4 year) : In year 2017-18, for 4 year UG Degree, a total of 448 students were admitted at Mount Zion College of Engineering and Technology and 333 completed their graduation in 2020-21. Out of 333 students 192 were placed with median salary of INR 180000 and 10 students opted for higher studies. A total of 303 students were admitted in year 2018-19 for 4 year UG degree at Mount Zion College of Engineering and Technologyand 250 completed their graduation in 2021-22. They should produce Original Nativity Certificate. Children of Central Government Employees, irrespective of their nativity, provided their parents or guardians (only if both parents are not alive) have been serving in Tamil Nadu continuously for the past five years can be eligible to apply. Sons & daughters of All India service Tamil Nadu cadre officers are eligible to apply. A Self declaration from the parent in this regard is to be produced. Children of employees in the Public Sector or Government recognised institutions had been working in their organisations for the past five years are also eligible, irrespective of their domicile. Other State candidates who have studied VIII, IX, X, XI and XII Std. in Tamil Nadu are eligible to apply. |
