Relatively dissatisfied because of less placements in 2023.
Placements: Till this date out of 42 students in my batch of same session as mine, only 3 students were able to secure placements. Although, I expect that more students will get placed as more the number of companies will visit. But, the placements are still very poor. What can you expect in less JEE Main rank? Last year, the highest package was around 50 LPA in Google. But that package was secured in off-campus mode. Companies like Alstom, Mantra, etc. Do visit our college. Generally, all students from my course got some internship in various companies but None of the internships paid students well enough. Top Roles offered in our course was SDE, Networking Engineer, Consulting Engineer, etc.
Infrastructure: Jionet Wi-Fi is available at whole campus 24x7 but the data that it offers is only 34 MB :- (. Labs are good but still lags behind many colleges. Classrooms are good and Library is there where you can borrow the book, study and return the book. I have passed through every hostel, and got a lessons that during the whole student life, you can't expect very good lifestyle. You get single room in the 3rd and 4th year. The quality of the food is below average. If you fall ill, there is no medical facilites in the college but there is a government hospital named SKMCH. The grounds are vast and have plenty of space with too much greenery around and fresh air.
Faculty: Yes the teachers are helpful. Most of the teachers are highly qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. Yes, the course curriculum is pretty good. It makes the students industry ready. Although, some of the reforms must be made. The difficult of the semester exams is average. Nobody fails here, except only few great ones.
Other: I have chosen this course because I love computer Science. The best thing about my course is that you can never remain unemployed if you get skills. I will spend my most important working times in my life with the computer (my favourite thing). There are plenty of events that take place like TechMiti (Teach Fest), Umang, Udgam, etc. The campus crowd is good. The campus surrounding feels like a heaven. The post-matric scholarship of Rs. 10000 is provided by the Government of Bihar to the backward caste students. Also the student can opt for Bihar Student Credit Card Loan of Rs. 400000 to complete their studies.

The campus and faculty members are good, but hostel facilities are poor.
Placements: About 50% of students get placed every year the highest placement is of 33 Lacs per annum offered by google in the in this year (2022). The recruiting companies are HCL, TCS, Wipro, Alstom, prism cement, okay, alliance, etc. The average package is about 4.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: The hostel facility is below average. The hostel is very old with broken doors, windows and glasses. Four students live in each room. The food provided in the mess is just okay. The hostel is very uncomtable in the summer with frequent power cuts and defective fans.
Faculty: The faculty members here are good. They always motivate the students. Classes are very regular. In this college, there are eight branches: civil engineering, electrical engineering, electronics and communication engineering, information technology and biomedical and robotics. The exam are taken very strictly.

Good college only for a degree.
Placements: Placement is very low in our college because very few companies visit our campus. Students should apply off-campus for placement. From the last pass-out batch in 2020, the highest package was 9 LPA and the lowest was 2.5 LPA. Companies like Wipro, Mantra, Cognitive, and some others that no one knows visit for recruitment. Only 20-30% of students get internships from IT, EE, Civil, ECE, and Mechanical branches. The main roles offered by companies are project engineer.
Infrastructure: The college is very old, so the infrastructure is outdated and not maintained properly. The lab is operational, and we do practicals there, but not all machines are working. For Information Technology, we have a separate building, where Wi-Fi is installed but not working, and the classrooms are also not clean. The hostel is good, but the quality of mess food is below average. There are no medical facilities in the college, so students have to go to the hospital themselves. Sports facilities are good because we have separate grounds for each sport like cricket, football, volleyball, and badminton.
Faculty: The faculty in our college is qualified and knowledgeable. The newly recruited teachers are good; they teach us very well and finish the syllabus on time. However, the curriculum is outdated and doesn't make us industry-ready. The semester exams are a little harder than those in other colleges. In every batch, 20-30% of students get back in some subjects.
Other: I chose this college because I didn't get the CSE branch in NIT, as there is more demand for IT engineers. I wish the curriculum would change like new IIITs, which focus on skills from the first year. Some fests like Techmiti, Fiesta, Umang, and others are held in our college, and the crowd is average.

Satisfied with faculty members and lab facilities, computer labs, and a well-maintained library.
Placements: The placement percentage is above 80%. The highest package is INR 30 LPA, the average package is INR 10 LPA, and the minimum package is around INR 7 LPA. The top recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro, etc. Students here get roles like software engineers, data managers, etc.
Infrastructure: All buildings are well maintained, and we have enough labs with Wi-Fi and AC systems. A well-maintained library and classrooms are there. Hostel buildings are old, but the quality of food in the mess is really good. Hostel buildings really need renovations, and the campus needs cleaning.
Faculty: Teachers are really good; they are knowledgeable, and their teaching quality is really good. The course curriculum is relevant and really helpful for industry; it makes you industry-ready. If you study 2–3 hours a day honestly, you won't face any issues in the semester examination.
Other: This is the only college that provides information technology courses in Bihar. The college organizes various fests like UMANG (the biggest intercollege sport fest of Bihar), TECHMITI (the biggest intercollege tech fest of Bihar), and FIESTA (the cultural fest of MIT Muzaffarpur).

Review of my college, Muzaffarpur Institute of Technology.
Placements: Only 10% of students were placed in our course. The highest package offered was 8.5 LPA. The lowest was 3.5 LPA. Only one company named Alstom came for on-campus hiring. Other students got hired through off-campus placement. There were no companies that provided internship opportunities. The top role offered was SDE.
Infrastructure: Faculty members are very cooperative and helpful in nature, always ready to help the students. There were labs, Wi-Fi on campus, and a and a library. The hostel buildings are not in such good condition that they require preparation. There is a field, and the campus is so spacious to play the games. There is also a canteen on campus.
Faculty: Faculty members are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. All the curriculum for this course was given and managed by AICTE. It does make the students industry-ready. The difficulty level of semester examinations is medium, and the passing percentage is the same as in all different engineering colleges.
Other: This course is very financially sustainable. There are so many clubs in college. A technical club named Moxie conducts a technical festival in which the students are from all over the state. Cultural clubs named Junoon conduct cultural festivals. Sports club named Udgam. Environment Club.
