NIPER JEE 2025: Registration, Exam Dates, Pattern, Syllabus, Old Question Papers

NIPER JEE 2025 is a gateway for admission to MPharma, MBA in Pharmaceutical Management and M.Tech in Pharmaceutical Management courses. NIPER institutes will conduct counselling for granting admission to PG Programmes soon. The NIPER JEE exam is conducted and organised by the NIPER individual institutes every year on a rotation basis. After the announcement of the result, NIPER JEE counselling for the MPharma programme will be concluded by NIPER Guwahati for admission to NIPER MPharma campuses. 

The exam duration is 2 hours and is conducted in English medium. The NIPER exam pattern comprises 200 multiple-choice questions (MCQs). Each correct answer is awarded one mark, and there’s a negative marking of 0.25 mark for every wrong answer. NIPER institutions will offer 990 seats this year across all its branches, NIPER (Mohali), NIPER Raebareli, NIPER Kolkata, NIPER Ahmedabad, NIPER Hajipur, NIPER Guwahati. Candidates must choose from the various exam centres carefully and follow their convenience because there is no scope for changing the centre later.

The entrance test is a national-level entrance exam, and the NIPER institutes hold a great repute when it comes to Postgraduate level education in Pharmacy. Below are the quick highlights of the NIPER exam, which candidates can refer to understand more about the exam:

Candidates must carefully read the eligibility requirements before filling out the application form. Only those who meet the eligibility requirements will be considered eligible for admission to NIPER institutions' master's and doctoral programmes. Below are the basic competencies that make a candidate eligible:

• The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or an equivalent programme or Master’s degree in the corresponding programme according to the course they seek to apply for.
• The candidate should have secured 60 percent or 6.75 GPA (55 percent or 6.25 CGPA for SC /ST candidates and 50 percent or 5.75 GPA for PH candidates) in aggregate in the qualifying exam.
• NIPER exam candidates should also have a valid GATE/NET or GPAT score

According to the conducting body, the centres are subject to adjustment if a sufficient number of registrations are not observed in a specific city. Furthermore, the conducting body would not have a travel allowance (TA) or a regular allowance (DA) if a candidate travels. Candidates are responsible for their expenses, and NIPER takes no responsibility. The list of NIPER JEE exam centres will be released along with the notification. NIPER will start the application process in April 2025. Candidates will be allowed to fill out the NIPER JEE application form online at the official website of NIPER Guwahati. The NIPER JEE 2025 application form will be available online. Here are the steps to fill out the NIPER application form at the online admission portal:

• Visit the official website of NIPER, niperguwahati.ac.in
• Click on the registration link and create a new user ID and password
• Candidates have to log in to their account by clicking the link sent on the registered mail ID post the registration process.
• Candidates have to provide all the details in the application form, such as Name, Address, Date of Birth, Father’s Name, Category, and Subject applied for.
• After filling out the application form, candidates must pay the application fee.
• The application fee is payable via Credit or Debit card, Net Banking or E-Challan
• A confirmation page will appear after the payment is done, and candidates now have to submit and initiate a digital signature.
• Candidates now have to upload their photo ID proof and Address proof, Tenth, and Twelfth Mark sheet, Reservation certificate (if applicable), Medical certificate (if applying under the handicapped category), valid GATE, GPAT or NET Scorecard (if applicable), and Passport-sized Photograph along with the digital signature.
• Candidates must take a printout of the filled application form for future reference. 

The NIPER JEE 2025 admission process involves the whole procedure to secure a seat via any of the entrance examinations. The process involves filling in application forms to attend the counselling and submitting the admission fee. Below are the brief steps of the admission process:

• Registration/Application form filling: Candidates will have to provide their personal details and academic details, upload their recent passport-size photograph and the scanned image of their signature, and submit the application fee to conclude the process.
• Download the Admit Card: The conducting body will release the admit card at least ten or seven days before the entrance exam, and candidates have to download and take a printout of the admit card.
• Appear for the entrance exam: The entrance exam is an important step which is mandatory for all aspirants. It is important to report to the allotted centre at the prescribed time and date. Candidates will not be allowed to enter the exam hall without producing a hard copy of the admit card.
• Attend the counselling: Candidates have to attend the counselling before a personal interview. According to the choice of selected college, candidates will be allotted seats as per their merit.
• Fee submission and attending classes: After the seats are allotted, candidates have to submit the admission fee and the tuition fee at the allotted institutes and attend the classes on the prescribed dates.

The National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research Joint Entrance Examination (NIPER JEE) exam pattern comprises vital information such as the mode of examination, the language in which the exam is conducted, etc. It is a two-hour-long, computer-based examination comprising 200 multiple-choice questions (MCQs). Each correct response is awarded 0.5 marks, and 0.125 marks are deducted for each incorrect response as per the exam pattern of NIPER JEE 2025. All the MCQs are asked in the English language only. Candidates have to answer the questions from BPharma and MSc levels. A few questions on general aptitude are also given in the entrance exam.
