The infrastructure is good, the environment is very nice, and faculty members are very supportive.
Placements: Almost 50–55% are placed in biotechnology courses. All have an internship through college or by themselves. The rest go for higher studies. Some of the tech companies also allowed biotechnology students to sit for the placements, but most don't. Top GATE rank holders are always there in every batch. This year, GATE rank 4 and GATE rank 6 came from biotechnology.
Infrastructure: Labs, classrooms, and libraries are all very good. Good in terms of infrastructure and maintenance as well. Hostels are also good. Hostel staff are strict in terms of security and cleanliness. Mess food is okay. Biotech labs are not very equipped, but they are sufficient for a B.Tech. degree.
Faculty: Faculty members are very supportive and well-educated. Semester exams are not very hard if you pay attention in class or study properly. Faculty provide PowerPoints and other study materials, too. Seniors always help you with academic or non-academic problems.
Other: I chose this course because it is in an emerging industry.

It is not a good college to pursue M.Tech.
Placements: Hardly 10% of placements are provided on campus. The highest package offered is nearly 7 LPA, and the lowest package is 5 LPA. The average package is 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Saint Gobain and Reliance. Hardly 10% of students got internships in companies like Reliance. Mostly, they are selected for analyst roles.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not much good. Everything is average here. The biggest drawback being there is no Wi-Fi in the department as well as on campus. The library is good. Labs are not well-equipped. Mess food is above average. The institute has its own dispensary.
Faculty: The college has very good faculty members. Most of them are IITs alumni. They have ample knowledge to share with students. The curriculum is not up to date as per industry standards. A lot is needed to be done in order to prepare students for the industry.
Other: The college organises two fests, technical and cultural. Both are organised in a fantastic manner. The college should provide scholarships to the needy.

Good college because of placements, faculty, and course curriculum.
Placements: Around 80% of students have been placed, as per the reports of previous batches. The highest package is around 26 LPA, the lowest is around 9 LPA, and the average is around 13 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Warner Bros. Discovery, Intel, Tata Motors, and Factspan Analytics. Around 70% of students got internships after the first year. Top roles offered were Data Scientist, AI Engineer, ML Engineer, and SDE.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is average where classes are taken. Although the rooms are air-conditioned, they do not have Wi-Fi. Coming to the hostel, the accommodations are above average but are not equipped with air conditioning. The mess food in the hostels is very good.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good, and the course curriculum is relevant according to industry standards. Some aspects can be improved, but since this course was just launched 4 years ago at NITJ, it is expected to improve in all areas for the upcoming batches.

Faculty members are good, helpful and knowledgeable as well.
Placements: About 6 students out of 18 students got placed in Intel for internships from VLSI, while one student got an internship from ECE. All our seniors got placed. A few of them got placed in core, while a few got placed in IT companies. So, overall, placements are good. Intel, Microchip and few good companies hire students for internships.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our department is very good. Labs are well designed, and the infrastructure of the hostel is also very good. But they allot one room for 2 students. The food served in the mess is good. Canteen, medical facilities and sports and games are very good here.
Faculty: Teachers here are well qualified, very helpful and knowledgeable. But the standard of their teaching needs to be improved. Most of them are very good, and their teaching style is excellent, but few just focus to complete the course. They make students ready for the industry.

Placements: Placements provided by our college are awesome. Many good companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Oracle and Adobe Reader visited our campus to hire candidates from our college. Our placement cell is good and active in providing campus placements for its students. Students are well placed in companies and get a good salary package as fresher and experienced.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very good. Facilities like sports, gym, recreational facilities, entertainment hospital, library and other facilities like canteen, beautiful scenery, playground, central auditorium are available on our campus. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled.
Faculty: Faculty members are awesome, very helpful, knowledgeable, and dedicated teachers with a huge level of experience and expertise in their subjects and fields. They are ready to help students at any point and situation. They clear our doubts as well whenever we approach them.

Really good infrastructure and research facilities.
Placements: There are 30% placements for M.Tech students. However, placements for B.Tech are very good. Major core and IT companies, and big marketing and teaching institutes visited the college for placements. The maximum package offered is 25 lacs per annum, and the average package is 7 lacs per annum. There is a placement cell available, and it is working properly.
Infrastructure: All facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, library, medical facilities, sports and games and research lab are available. The quality of labs and classrooms is very good, and they are well-equipped. There are 7 old hostels and 1 mega hostel for boys and 1 old hostel and 1 mega hostel for girls. The condition of old hostels is not good, but mega hostels are very good.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified and knowledgeable, and teaching quality is also very good. The methods used for teaching are blackboard and PPTs. There is no industry exposure for M.Tech students. The course curriculum is well-designed as per the requirement.
