A total of 16 MTech students registered for the 2023 placement drive. Out of these, 11 were eligible for the placements and 5 were successfully placed. GATE CCMT R1 has been released for admission to the M.Tech courses. Candidates seeking admission to the NIT Uttarakhand M.Tech course must secure a rank between 353 and 438 under the first cutoff list for the General category students. Specialisation-wise Round 1 cutoffs are given below for NIT Uttarakhand:

NIT Uttarakhand offers BTech, M.Tech and PhD courses at the UG, PG and PhD levels.

At the UG level, NIT Uttarakhand offers BTech in 5 major streams such as Civil Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Electronic & Communication Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. The duration for the BTech course is 4 years. The total tuition fees for the BTech course is around INR 5 Lacs. 

NIT Uttarakhand offers BTech, MTech, and PhD programmes in the fields of Civil Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering, among others. 

The BTech CSE (Computer Science & Engineering) programme, offered by the institute is very popular among the students due to its promising career prospects and excellent placement record. The BTech CSE programme offered by NIT Uttarakhand is a four-year programme, offered through the Department of Computer Science and Engineering. The department's faculty members are mostly PhD holders from the reputed institutes of the country. INR 34 LPA was the highest package offered to a student during the 2022 placements, and the top recruiters included Adobe India, Algo Sec, Samsung SRI Noida, and Atlassian, among others.

NIT Uttarakhand offers a four-year BTech, and a two-year MTech programme at the UG and PG levels, respectively. The programmes are offered in five specialisations: Civil Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Electronic & Communication Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. For admission to its BTech programme, NIT Uttarakhand accepts JEE Main scores, whereas for admission to its MTech programme, the institute accepts GATE scores. NIT Uttarakhand accepts GATE/ NET/ SET scores, for admission to its PhD programme. The candidates must fill out the application form available on the institute's official website to apply for these programmes. 

During 2023 placements, 62 BTech, 5 MTech, and 2 PhD students were placed. In total 74 job offers were attracted.
