NIT Meghalaya offeres two years full-time MSc progarmme especially for the graduate students to pursue their studies in the fields of science. However, candidates are required to fulfill the eligibility criteria laid down by the institution, which are as follows:

• Candidates must have bachelor’a degree in BSc with 60% aggregate
• Must qualify for the Joint Admission Test for Masters (IIT Jam) with a valid score
• Register for seat allocation through the Centralized Counselling for MSc (CCMN)

GATE exams for M.Tech programme is out for admission to NIT Meghalaya. GATE registration had started and is available till Oct 13, with late fees. Candidates can dowload the GATE admit card from Jan 3, 2024 to Feb 2, 2024. The Gate exam is to be scheduled from Feb 3 to Feb 11, 2024. The NIT Meghalaya GATE Cutoff 2024 has been released for Round 1. The Cutoff scores for various M.Tech courses ranged between 352 and 492, for the General AI category candidates. The Cutoff score of CSE, the most competitive course, stood at 492. Therefore, candidates with the Cutoff score of 500 can get M.Tech in CSE at  NIT Meghalaya.

NIT Meghalaya cutoff 2025 has been released for the round 1. The cutoff has been released for admission to BTech and BArch courses, on the basis of JEE Main scores. The cutoff was released for different categories belonging to the All India and Home State quotas. Among the General AI category candidates, the cutoff ranks varied between 22131 and 48977. The  most desired course among the General AI category candidates was BArch. In the BTech specialisations, the most desirable specialisation turned out to be CSE. 

NIT Meghalaya offers a four-year BTech course at the UG level across five specialisations.
