NIT SILCHAR for M.Tech. In Mechanical Engineering.
Placements: The placements for M.Tech. Is quite poor. The percentage of people placed from both the batch of 2018 and 2017 was quite small. In the batch of 2018, the only notable company for placement for the M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering were the PIAGGIO. There were no R&D companies for the M.Tech students and the M.Tech students weren't allowed to sit on the placement for the PSUs.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure in NIT silchar is average for a technical institute. The hostels and classrooms are quite adequate and built sufficiently advanced to satisfy the needs of the students and teachers alike. However, the library facility is not upto the mark. The general category students are not allowed to avail the facilities of the Book Bank which are only reserved for the SC/ST Student. Apart from then, sophisticated instruments like SEM are lacking which obstructs experimental research.
Faculty: The course Curriculum of the institute is quite upto date and there are regular exams and seminar held to keep upto mark. The faculty of the institute were qualified to teach the basics of the course Curriculum and hence make it a pleasant study Experience.

There is good placement for B.Tech not masters and campus is great.
Placements: The college doesn't have much placement for M.Tech, but research scope is there, so you come and good infrastructure. There are good placements for only B.Tech, but for masters very low placement. You also say that B.Tech in NIT is good, but M.Tech not soo much. This is the fact for the national institute of tech of India not my, but also all NIT there are not the M.Tech student for placement.
Infrastructure: The college has a very good infrastructure with a nice building and enough space. The campus glows and very nice lakes are all around its classrooms. The library is the biggest of Asian Lib, and all games are available, the hostel is great. There are sports and games like cricket, volleyball and also tv room is nice. Wi-Fi has great speed, and labs are good with nice lab teacher as they are knowledgable and teaches well.
Faculty: All courses are available in the college with good teachers. Some teachers are very bad, but in every college, there is some faculty so not to worry. The civil is where the big course available, in mechanical also the course available, and also good in EC. The main thing is good teachers. There is not a single faculty in the college who not take a class every teacher take the class on time.
Other: The fest is awesome here, and the campus is very green.

Always good placement. Good college for engineering.
Placements: The placement is very good. Most of my classmates are placed. 70% are placed till now. The highest package offered was 28 LPA, the lowest was 3.25 LPA, and the average was 6.5 LPA. Many companies like Deloitte, Oracle, Direct I, etc. have visited. The roles were of a developer, etc. Almost all of them got an internship. The stipend depends on the internship.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. The labs are fine with AC installed in them and same for the classrooms. The quality of the food is average and manageable. The hostel rooms are perfect. There are two persons in one room. I didn't face any infrastructure related issues during the tenure of the college.
Faculty: All the faculty members are helpful, knowledgeable, and qualified for their work. More than the students, the teachers are passionate. The teachers use all the methods for teaching like slides, board, presentations by students, etc. We get industry exposure. Everything we have been taught here is useful.

Other: Great experience with great buddies. Campus life is good. Level of education is ok, not that much good as i expected. Beside this everything is ok. College is very good. Full of nature, north east is all about natural beauty so I like it so much here. Placements are good here for B.tech and higher educational opportunities are good.

Q:   What to do after JEE Main session 2 result?

A:

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice.
