This college is way behind the other colleges in terms of placement.
Placements: There were a total of 34 students in our batch. At the end of the year, only 8 students were placed by the college placement drive. The highest salary package offered was 4 LPA by Shapoorji Palonji, and the average salary package offered was 2 LPA.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure of the college were decent. There was Wi-Fi in the hostel and college campus. Classrooms and library were fully air-conditioned and clean. Hostel rooms had single bed, mattress, wardrobe, balcony, but they were no air-conditioners. We had common washroom and bathroom on each floor of the hostel. Sports facilities were quite good as the college has its basketball court, badminton court, football ground and table tennis court. It has its newly built simulator. The quality of the food served was pathetic in the college as students managed it, and the college was not accountable for that. The canteen was clean and spacious.
Faculty: Teachers in our college were qualified and knowledgeable. But they were not quite helpful except a few. Teaching quality was good. The course curriculum was relevant. Various industrial visits and simulator training in Faridabad was an important part of their curriculum which made students industry-ready.

Good faculty with good knowledge & very bad infrastructure and hostel.
Placements: Placement in TPPE is not that good as the management does not co-operate with each other. Only 12 students got placed in power sector core companies. At last the management started calling marketing companies and all. Placement procedure is also not that fair enough as few students were called for re exam without the course coordinator being informed. The highest salary offered was 7.2 LPA by Vedanta & minimum was 2.2 LPA by Lanco Group. Other than this, Adani Power, Manikaran Traders, CESE, IPCL visited the college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of college is not at all good. The classrooms paint is fading down. No proper ventilation and light in case of power cut. Labs are too old fashioned with a lot of dust on equipment and machines. Too small library with a limited opening time. No medical facilities at all. Sports equipment provided are old ones. Then comes the hostel which is in a very poor condition. The wall has written matter from previous batches with no chair in the room. The sleeping bed is also in a poor condition. The college does not provide with any mattress and pillow so you have to arrange on your own. Do not expect a normal or good quality food at the canteen. The quality is very very bad with no taste at all & be prepared to eat only potato all the three times. In fact while lightening and thundering one of the walls shed its plaster.
Faculty: If you want knowledge then sure shot get admission here. The college in only concerned in knowledge and no placement. Faculty members are very very knowledgeable and have a long industry exposures. The classes are been taken with the help of projectors. The teachers were helpful and were ready to help anytime possible from morning till evening and very effectively cleared the doubts. Most of them were highly qualified. Other than this, we had a lot of industrial visits and on job training over the period of 1 year. The course was helpful in clearing every doubt related to power plants.
