Placements: The placement percentage is 98.02%, with an average package of 15 LPA and the highest package reaching 86 LPA. This demonstrates that NIT Jamshedpur maintains a rigorous placement standard, evident in the offers extended to six students from electrical CSE and electronics.

Placements: As of my graduating year being 2026, according to the seniors' data, approximately 100 percent of the students who appeared for placement sessions were placed. Companies like Atlassian, among several others, conduct recruitment drives on our campus. Typically, students from my branch are offered managerial positions.

Placements: As I am from the mechanical branch and the placements are quite good in core branches compared to other colleges, if you are thinking of joining the core branch sector, NIT Jamshedpur will be the best option. If you have a better option, go for that. The average package is approximately 8 LPA.

The highest package offered by Atlassian is 83 LPA offered to 6 students. In my course, top roles like SWE and SDE are offered. Since I have recently joined this college, I don't know much about the placements and internships offered.

However, due to the recession, the college is facing a lack of non-core placements. Nonetheless, core companies such as Tata Motors, Tata Steel, Jindal, and Aditya Birla are showing more interest in our college this year. At present, the maximum placement this year has been 80 LPA.
