I am satisfied because of the hostel and friends.

Placements: There were 160 students in electrical B.Tech in my batch. The highest salary package offered was mainly by PSU like Indian Oil, HPCL, Power Grid. The average salary package offered was around 6 LPA, and the highest salary package offered is 14 LPA by Power Grid. Siemens and Havells offered the internship for students, and very few students got an internship.

Infrastructure and student culture is good.Lot of free time for any activities and competitive exams

Placements: 20% placed ( internship) last year with average package of 6 LPA. 5 people from our batch got selected in Toshiba in 2018. On an average placements for M.Tech is okay not very good. Placements are very good for CS and IT and packages are also very high. But the scenario is not same for other branches. In M.Tech people mainly focus on psu's and ese exams.

Unbiased review of NIT Kurukshetra from a 2013 B.Tech Batch Student.

Placements: We're the first PIE Batch to graduate from NIT Kurukshetra, hence there was an air of uncertainty amongst the recruiters but the placement coordinators ensured that the playing field was the same for us. Around 40 students out of the total batch strength of 67 students which was a commendable show on their part. The following years as per the official report, the placement scenario has significantly hit a high, this the future looks bright and promising.

More or less a satisfying college with knowledgeable faculty and good placements.

Placements: There are average placements for the mechanical branch. The package offered is 6-7 LPA, but it depends on persons capabilities and grades. Some students get offered with 3 LPA, and some might get 12 LPA package. Almost 70-80% of students get placed.

Placements: This year, the placement rate has increased. Placements in our college are increasing from the last 3 years. Companies like Amazon, Goldmann Sachs, Fidelity, Flipkart, Paytm, Oyo, etc., visited our campus for placements. The internships are also fair for the current batch. Placements can be improved. However, the college offers a good studying environment.

Placements: Placements in our college were not that good for the master course compared to bachelor courses unless one belongs to the computer engineering branch. However, Students are offered with pretty decent internship opportunities. Currently, there are only 5-10% of placements, which will vary with the year in good firms. Students will get internships in some firms like Tata Power, Qualcomm, etc. The stipend offered ranges from Rs. 12,000 to Rs. 30,000-40,000 per month. There is a placement cell, whic...

The tag is good, but the placements for M.Tech students are poor.

Placements: Placements for the embedded system design are not even average. There were around 18 people in the batch, and out of them, only 6-7 students were placed through campus placements. I suggest you do not run behind the tag of NIT. It has the value if one is going for B.Tech but not for M.Tech.

Placements: Placements are good. Almost all the students who had cleared all the semesters had been placed. The highest salary will be around 12 LPA and the least salary will be 4 LPA. There are many kinds of clubs in which anyone can join and can improve there extra curricular activities.

Faculty of the mechanical branch are poor, and the college is good at almost all the other aspects.

Placements: Placements in NIT Kurukshetra are good for branches like computer science, IT and electrical. Our teacher of the heat transfer subject who is also the head of our training and placement cell said that CS and IT branches have 100% placements. However, around 35% of the students get placed from branches like civil and mechanical. The placement rate is increasing every year. Placements: The overall placements of the batch are decent. Placements are the best for CS and IT branches followed by electronics and the rest of the branches. Placements completely depend on your knowledge and skill. One can also witness cross branch hiring here. Even a few finance companies visit the campus for placements.

Placements: Placements for the students of CS and IT branch are quite good, but they are okay for other branches. The average salary package offered for CS and IT students is around 12 LPA to 14 LPA. The average salary package offered for the students of mechanical engineering is 5 LPA to 7 LPA. The average salary package for students of other branches is also much similar.
