Average placements, new campus, average mess food, overall a very average college.

Infrastructure: The college is moving to a new campus in February 2025. The new campus is in Sohra, Cherapunji, and is in a beautiful setting. The campus is newly built and has new furniture and amenities. The mess food is average, but I expect it to improve once the new campus opens.

New campus life starts, but we'll enjoy yourself.

Infrastructure: The hostel has good facilities, but the three-seater rooms require some adjustment. The vegetarian food is average, but the non-veg food is better. There are a few canteens, but they are expanding. For medical care, we depend on the Ramkrishna School and a medical emergency building on campus. There are also two ambulances always on campus. Sports facilities are growing, and we have some indoor sports tables, a badminton court, and a cricket ground for now.

Dissatisfied by the food in the mess & transportation facilities, placements are not up to the mark.

Infrastructure: Campus shifting will take place this December as it’s confirmed officially now. Wi-Fi is good, labs and classrooms are so nice in the permanent campus. Hostel rooms in our new campus are nice. The library is too small but enough for the students count here. Food is bad, and sports and games are fine.

We are shifting to our permanent campus.

Infrastructure: There are computer labs with Mac operation systems. It is well-equipped with high-speed Wi-Fi connections and dehumidifiers for projecting the systems from moisture. There is a building with a big library consisting of all the important books for every course.

Overall, totally satisfied with how the journey turned out to be in this institute.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good, with plenty of open space and decent facilities. The course instructors are well-prepared to deliver the course effectively, and the campus's scenic beauty and spaciousness add to the overall experience.

An average college with natural beauty.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the labs, classrooms, and lecture halls is good. This is also true of the hostels, but if you are looking for food, it is not good if you are from the north or west of India. There is mostly non-vegetarian food. No nearby restaurants are available; in fact, there are no shops.

Any way NIT is a NIT.

Infrastructure: Currently, our campus is working in a temporary campus, so it doesn't have advanced facilities. Labs are equipped with all the necessary equipment that is needed, but slowly the labs are being shifted to the permanent campus, which has all the advanced machines and laboratories. Hostels are quite good.

Good faculty, infrastructure, and facilities as well as a good senior junior bonding.

Infrastructure: For Civil Engineering department, there are separate labs for different courses, e.g., structural engineering, geotechnical engineering, Transportation Engineering, Hydrology and Water Resources Engineering, Engineering Drawing lab, etc. Library facilities are also available for students. As NIT Meghalaya is being operated from its temporary campus, some apartments have been rented as hostels. In hostels, Wi-Fi and mess gym facilities are available and for transportation from hostel to college a...

Review of Bachelors of technology in Computer Science from the NIT Meghalaya.

Infrastructure: NIT Meghalaya has a very good infrastructure for computer science courses. The campus of the college is pretty big and beautiful. The campus of the college is lush with greenery. College management offers facilities such as computer labs, libraries, canteens, Wi-Fi, sports, etc. that are properly maintained. The quality of these facilities is also good. A hostel facility is also available for college students. The food in the mess and canteen is also good to eat.

A good college environment.

Infrastructure: The campus was well-developed with Wi-Fi connectivity, spacious rooms, washrooms, a stocked library, an auditorium, and a hospital facility in case of need. A hostel facility is also available and the mess and canteen both have good, hygiene-quality food. We do have football, cricket, basketball, volleyball and badminton courts available.

Good college because of the study level. As compared to IIITs and GFTIs, this NIT is very good.

Infrastructure: Facilities are not so good, but professors are very good. We have Wi-Fi, labs, a library, and separate classrooms. The quality of food is not good in hostels, but in college it is good. Medical facilities are very good; colleges have a separate department for them.

I would recommend students to join this college.

Infrastructure: Currently, we are operating from Shillong, and it is a temporary campus. Our campus is average so the college life is not that good. Hostels are far from college and are average. All the hostels are at different places and are not good. Even the quality of food served is the worst. You can't enjoy hostel life but from batch'23 we are shifting to permanent campus, so then it will be good.

Best of returns, good placement records, and a good coding environment.

Infrastructure: The best hostel compared to other NITs has all-time free Wi-Fi and good mess food. Gym equipment in the hostel, a 24*7 medical facility in the eye-distance hospital, and indoor as well as outdoor game facilities. They also provide all types of game equipment. The playground is so near to the hostel.

In our college, placements are very good but facilities are not up to the mark.

Infrastructure: Since this college is operating from a temporary campus so it lacks certain facilities like sports and Wi-Fi. Laboratory is small. Classrooms are also not spacious. The library is not huge but several books are available. There are 3 canteens on our campus. Medical facilities are available. The food served in the mess is average.
