Overall, totally satisfied with how the journey turned out to be in this institute.

Placements: Top roles offered are mainly in government jobs like PWD or BRD. In both campus and off-campus placements, almost 60% of students were placed, with the highest package being over 60 LPA and the average around 30 LPA. Internship opportunities are great and affiliated with AICTE, with top companies like HCL, Wipro, Microsoft, and Google offering internships.

Any way NIT is a NIT.

Placements: Placements are good here. Almost 90 percent of the students were placed. The main recruiters are KEC International and Narayana. Last year, some of the students were placed in BPCL with an 18 LPA CTC, which was the highest package, and the lowest was 6 LPA in the civil engineering branch. Students did their internships in PWD, AAI, some private companies, and AIT Thailand.

It is an excellent college in terms of academics and placements.

Placements: I am in the second year, so I don't know in detail about placements. But I have seen the data on NIRF that is submitted by college to the MHRD. The average salary package offered in the year 2018 was 5.4 LPA, and the highest salary package offered was 17.2 LPA. So I can say that NITM is a good college if you are a hard worker. More than 90% of students got placed in the year 2018. In our college, there is a centre for career development.

A brief description of NIT Meghalaya and its faculty, placements and infrastructure.

Placements: The placements are increasing year by year, and are very good especially for mechanical students. Overall, maximum all students were placed in the final year. A very responsive T&P head and team cell for calling various HRs of various companies are present. Companies all over India will be coming here to take students into their company and thereby placing students.

I would rate 9/10 for placements, 8/10 for faculty, and 5/10 for the campus.

Placements: About 85% of the CSE branch students got placed. The highest package offered by Microsoft is 10 LPA, and the lowest package is 3.3 LPA. The placement ratio of the civil and mechanical branch is bad. No government company visit the campus for the placements. Some companies visit the campus for the local guys.
