NIT Sikkim accepts the GATE score, followed by the GATE CCMT Counselling process for the MTech admission. NIT Sikkim cutoff 2023 for MTech in CSE is not available. Computer Science Engineering is the most popular specialisation under M.Tech programme in NIT Sikkim after BTech programme . The cutoff for M.Tech CSE was 408 in 2021 which decreased to 385 in 2022 indicating lesser demand of M.Tech course among candidates.As for the placement, NIT Sikkim has an concluded its 2022 placements with 80.84% and the M.Tech students received 100% internship oppurtunities in reputed organisations.

NIT Sikkim M.Tech application process is done through GATE application process. Candidates need to visit the official website of GATE gate2024.iisc.ac.in. The process of applying includes registration, filling out the online application form, uploading the required documents, and payment of the application fee. 

NIT Sikkim don't provide direct admission to any programme offered by the institution. The admissions are strictly based on national-level entrance tests like JEE Main, GATE, and IIT JAM. GATE 2024 registration for M.Tech admission to NIT Sikkim has started .Candidates can also fill GATE application form 2024 online at gate2024.iisc.ac.in. GATE 2024 exam will be conducted on February 3, 4, 10, and 11,   2024. IISc Bangalore has released the detailed GATE 2024 information brochure. Candidates can check the detailed notification on the GATE 2024 official website and also on the GATE Shiksha page. A new paper on GATE 2024 Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (DA) has been added. 

The basic eligibility criteria to apply for the M.Tech course at NIT Sikkim is that the candidate must have completed a BE/BTech degree in a relevant field from a recognised university or institute. Additionally, the candidate must have secured a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in their undergraduate degree programme. Further, the selection procedure includes GATE and CCMT exams.
