In two sessions, IIT Roorkee will conduct the GATE 2025 exam on February 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025. The exam will be held online for three hours. Candidates appearing for the exam must be aware of the exam pattern inorder to secure a good rank. Here is the exam pattern for GATE 2025 Environmental Science and Engineering-
- The paper will comprise three sections: general aptitude (GA), engineering mathematics, and subject-specific questions.
- The total mark of the GATE ES paper is 100, with 65 questions.
- The distribution of marks is as follows: engineering mathematics 13 marks, general aptitude- 15 marks, and environmental science and engineering - 72 marks.
- All questions either carry one to two marks. Negative marking is only applicable to MCQs.
