NIT Sikkim - The perfect place to shape your future

Placements: Being a new NIT, the placements are increasing rapidly. Our seniors were able to sit for internships and placements of companies like Intel and Microsoft. Our NIT is about 7-year-old now. The campus placements of our college are close to 100% but the average package is close to 5-6 lacs per annum. I'm hoping that in upcoming years, this will improve.

A place you will not regret staying at.

Placements: The placements are quite good this yea as around 80% of the students are already placed. 10 LPA was the highest package offered to 4 students by Intel and the lowest offered was 3.5 LPA, while the average is around 4.5 LPA. Intel, Tech Mahindra, Microsoft, Virtusa and many others visited here for placements, and the students also go for pool campus placements to NIT Silchar and NIT Calicut. Around 30% students get the internship from the college.

It's a college of national importance with NIT tag. It has some basic problems at the beginning but now days it is tending towards excellence. Overall, it's has best campus beauty and climate conditions. The campus life is full of entertainment and opportunities for the students. Locality near the campus is good and also, very cooperative with the students.

It is a newly established NIT, but in these very few years, it has grown to the best in the state. The basic problem is the infrastructure, which is improving but with a slower pace. The college is located at a remote location and managing a good faculty in this location is a big task. The campus environment is warming and the climate is cold. The placement drive is just average.

I am satisfied because of the location and above-average placements.

Placements: In our course, around 69% of the students are already placed with an average salary package of 4.8 LPA. Top recruiting companies are L&T and Schindler. Almost every student got opportunities from different companies for internships. Roles like mechanical engineers, design engineers and production engineers are offered.

NIT Sikkim - National Institute of Technology is good for students who have zeal to learn.

Placements: Placements for our batch were excellent. Almost 90% of our batch students got placed in well-reputed companies. The average salary package offered was 5 LPA, and the highest salary package offered was 12 LPA. Few of the central government organisations like PGCIL and BEL visited our college and hired students from our batch.
