It is the most beautiful college in the world, but placements for civil engineering are very bad.

Placements: Only 20% of the students from our course got placed. The highest salary package offered is 4 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 1.5 LPA. Top companies don't visit our college for placements, which is a very bad thing. B. Tech, M.Tech, PhD and diploma courses are offered by this institute. Only 20% of the students got internships, so our college is very bad in this aspect.

The camps has a very nice surrounding.

Placements: Due to the current situation in Kashmir, the college placement is not going well as per expectation. 10-12 students out of 65 are placed in electrical. The highest CTC is 18 lakh in Gail (PSU), the minimum is 4 lakh and the average is 7-8 lakh. The top recruitment company is GAIL in 2019. Many students had got an internship in BHEL. In case you have knowledge of any computer language you will get 100% placement. CS & IT students are placed. 80-90% of the students got internship.

It is not the best, but good college to pursue engineering.

Placements: Civil engineering course has a good scope in our college as compared to other branches. Civil engineer more probably gets an offer from the government department easily. Most of the companies visit our campus for placements, but top companies do not visit our campus. Some of our seniors from the computer engineering course were offered with good salary package. The average salary package offered ranges between 10-12 LPA.

I am not satisfied in terms of placement as only core branches have maximum placements.

Placements: Out of 64, 17 students got placements in various sectors. The highest salary package offered was 7.5 LPA and the lowest salary package offered was 3.5 LPA. Companies like Wipro, Infosys, etc., visit our college placements. Almost 100% of the students got an internship in companies like GAIL, SAIL, IOCL, etc. The placement record is not very bad, but it needs more improvement.

I'm extremely thankful to our college for inculcating good qualities.

Placements: Placements in our college were not very good but decent. Only those students who have nice CGPA and perform nicely in the interview get a decent job here. Moreover, few students got jobs in Google and Oracle. More than 10 companies like Infosys, Tata, etc., visited our campus for placements.

Review of NIT Srinagar - National Institute of Technology, Srinagar (NITSRI).

Placements: It's one of the best institutes in the country. There are highly experienced faculty. There are modern libraries and laboratories. Hostel facility is also good. As a student, I would like to prefer this institute. There is good transport service. It is situated on Dal Lake, which makes it more beautiful.

It is a wonderful college.

Placements: The college provides 100% placements for like civil, electrical and mechanical courses. Other subjects also have a considerably good placement percentage. Almost all the Indian companies visit the college, and few MNCs also visit the campus for placements. The highest salary package offered was at our time was 74 LPA by US-based company. There is a robust and active placement cell which works very hard and had signed MOU with various companies across the country for visiting our college. In some...

I am well satisfied because of the studies, placements and beauty of the college.

Placements: The college had excellent placements. Even mechanical engineering had 200% placements with all reputed PSUs visited for recruitment. I am currently working in NTPC. The highest salary package offered was 12 LPA in 2013, by ONGC, and now many IT companies offer above 50 LPA to students. Many junior and our batch students got placed in foreign companies. In 2013 also many MNCs visited college like Finisar, Samsung, ABB, etc.

I'm very happy that I got admission in this college.

Placements: Placements are going to be tough, as we have the best performance in the coming days. We have to work hard and participate in competitive exams. Students should concentrate more on exams like Gate, and those who are preparing for Gate should be very careful.

It is a better college compared to other regional colleges.

Placements: Placements for the mechanical branch is very good as many reputed companies visit our campus for placements. Some PSUs also visit our campus for placements and offers high salary packages. In 2018, the highest salary package offered was 18 LPA, and the average salary package offered was around 8 LPA.
