If you don't have any other decent option, then get admitted in NIT Srinagar.

Placements: Placements are pretty decent, but students should not expect more. Our previous 2 batches have seen good numbers and percentage selections, but things are pretty uncertain in Kashmir. Maximum placements are for the branches of IT, and CSE followed by ECE, mechanical, and other departments.

Absolutely dissatisfied with the faculty members. The college lacks liberty and infrastructure.

Placements: The placement record of our branch was awesome. Around 40 students out of 75 got placed. Many good companies including PSUs visited our campus. The placement session solely depends on the situation of the valley which is prominently tense. So, I can say that placements are not guaranteed. I will not recommend this college to anyone.

My college right now is in a very bad situation and needs a lot of improvements.

Placements: Placements are not up to the mark. I will say 40% students got campus recruitment with an average package of 450000. Overall, the placements are average. Due to the unrest in 2016 in the valley, the placements were very low but this year, there was a bit of an improvement. The college doesn't provide a good way for internships and also, the branches like chemical and metallurgy have a very low placement ratio.

It is the most beautiful college in the world, but placements for civil engineering are very bad.

Placements: Only 20% of the students from our course got placed. The highest salary package offered is 4 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 1.5 LPA. Top companies don't visit our college for placements, which is a very bad thing. B. Tech, M.Tech, PhD and diploma courses are offered by this institute. Only 20% of the students got internships, so our college is very bad in this aspect.
