It is a wonderful experience for any one who joins NITK.

Placements: I think placements are very good in my college as heard about them while talking with my friends. It is very good option choosing NITk for placement purpose. Our seniors got even packages of 25-60 lakhs per annum. 100% guarantee placements are provided to the students.

One of the best colleges in South India.

Placements: Placement is very good. Many companies like general motors, Mercedes, tech-Mahindra, etc., offer various job opportunities. Around 96% of students were placed last year. The highest package offered is 24 LPA and the lowest package is 4 LPA. Average package 7.5 LPA. We have our own racing team.

National Institute of Technology, Karnataka.

Placements: The placements for CSE, IT, ECE, and EEE departments are very good. The placements are decent for core branches like civil. The average package for the civil students in the last year was between 4-5 LPA. If your CGPA is above 8, then you need not worry in which branch you are because there will be good companies waiting for you.

Extremely satisfied in terms of placements, faculty, opportunities and facilities offered.

Placements: The placements were great for undergraduate students. Almost every student who wanted to get placed got a job somewhere through the campus placements. Also, several core companies come for specific branch profiles, which is not common in other colleges. The highest salary this year is around 36LPA offered by Uber. The average salary is 8LPA.

Pros and cons of NIT-K, Surathkal.

Placements: Placements are quite decent in NITK. I can provide you with some data for my branch, i.e., civil. So firstly, if you are expecting an average package of 30 lakhs in civil, then you will definitely be disappointed, but the placements are surely satisfying here. This year placement was 67%, but you have to consider that in civil, many people go for further studies and hence don't take campus placements. So that's a decent percent if you compare other top colleges too. Average package in civil was ...

NITK is one of the top 10 colleges in India.

Placements: The percentage of the number of placement students is high for B.Tech courses. But when we consider the master degree courses like M.Tech, MBA and M.Sc. The above-said percentage is below 50 percent, still NITK posses high placements as compared to other nicks.

NIT Surathkal, a worthy college.

Placements: The placements are decent. Students go for core companies, as well as, non-core jobs. The companies like Reliance, GlaxoSmithKline, Dr Reddy, Exxon Mobile, BPCL, HPCL, etc. come for placement and offer a decent package. The highest package offered was 17 LPA, and the lowest is 5.5 LPA given as PPO by Reliance. The average salary was around 7 LPA. Students get placed in core companies as simulation engineers, process engineer and in non-core companies as operation manager, area manager, data anal...

True satisfaction lies here.

Placements: They were very good for our seniors. I hope it goes well with our batch too. The average package of an individual varies between 4-9 LPA depending on department. The placement cell is good. Brings down cutoffs if possible to help more students get placed.

The college is one of its kinds. One would love to spend his or her time in the college.

Placements: Placements are pretty good as compared to other colleges in Karnataka. Last year's placement statistics show that there were 100% placements in chemical and computer science. The highest package in the chemical engineering was Rs. 13.7 lakhs per annum with an average of Rs. 6 lakhs per annum. The lowest salary offered was Rs. 3.5 lakhs per annum.

NITK is like a mini India. You will meet all types of people from different culture.

Placements: This word of mine is always true and it applies all the time for students who get into NITK, the placements are equivalent in getting a degree. Everyone gets into any one of the companies irrespective of your performance in academics. Those who get into NITK will go with a job offer, it might be one or it might be more than one if you are lucky enough to do so.

It is one of the top colleges in India.

Placements: The college has awesome placements. It is one of the top colleges in India. Nearly 90% of the students got placed at my time. The highest was 65 LPA in Microsoft USA. The average was nearly 7-8 LPA. The roles are mainly software engineer and apart from that management role and analyst role were also there.

NITK Sueathkal, overall review.

Placements: The placements here, I would like to write in five-point. In B.Tech, all branches have good placement. Overall, 85+% student get placed. M.Tech CS, IT, CMA, and VLSI these branches have good placement. Mechanical DP, MC and, thermal have 55-60 placement. The mechanical manufacturing placement is not good merely 35%. The civil placement is not good. The electrical power system this time 6 out of 18 got placed. Other than that, the placements depend on candidate skill not branch because many compa...

After the older IIT's, NITK is the best Engineering college in India and is totally recommended.

Placements: NITK is known for its massive placements. Even this year placements went very good especially for CS and IT branches. The highest domestic package for CS was 36.5 LPA, and for IT was 32 LPA, and the average package for both branches was around 15 LPA. Almost 100% of the students were placed. Average package for EEE and ECE were around 10 LPA whereas for other core branches it was around 7-8 LPA. In short, the placements were decent this time as usual.

I am very excited to be studying in that college and I am very lucky too, to get such a college.

Placements: The placements are very good. Almost all of them get placed, i.e., about 90%. The highest package offered until now is 36lacs p.a to a student of the computer science and engineering branch. The lowest package is 4.5 lac p.a. About 70-80% of the students go for a summer internship. About 4-7 students go abroad for the internships. There is a separate placement cell. It is the best college in my state.

There is good infrastructure and good placements.

Placements: Last year, almost 63% were placed in civil engineering. The average salary is almost 5 LPA. It is the lowest placement compared to other branches, but this college is great. If you can score above 8 CGPA, then no matter what your branch is, you'll get good companies.

Don't Miss this if you are eligible for this College.

Placements: Frankly speaking, there are around 40-50% placements in M Tech. But if you are going for B Tech, then you are probably going to be a multi-bagger. Most of the private companies visit here for placements. The average package of around 7-8 LPA, and the highest of 24 LPA.

It is a premium institute and is among the top 3 NITs.

Placements: Placements for M.Tech and M.Tech (research) students are fair in case of the mechanical engineering department. Branches like the design, thermal, manufacturing, mechatronics have 50% industrial placement on an average. Also, there are opportunities for internship and industrial projects.

This institute is not a bad choice.

Placements: Well, I am still in the first year, but I'll try to give all the information that I know. This year, the highest package offered was 36 LPA. The placement percentage is more than 95 in all the departments except mining. The average salary all over is around 10-13 LPA. When it comes to departments, the computer science got the highest average, i.e. 18 LPA. There is also a placement cell here which according to the feedback given by my seniors here, works sufficiently enough.

The computer science branches have the highest placement percentage along with an average package. Also, every branch placement stats are fine.
