One of the best experiences of my life - NITK.

Placements: The NITK is renowned for its placements. About 90% of the students appearing for placements get job offers. There is a placement cell which coordinates with companies from different industries for campus visits. There are companies which offer core technical profiles in all disciplines of engineering and there are also many companies which offer profiles in the analyst sector. The chances of getting placed is one of the highest among all colleges in the country.

NITK: The One with a Private Beach.

Placements: The outgoing CSE batch had a placement record of close to 100%. Most of them were offered PPOs on the basis of their performance during their internships (after the 3rd year). Students got placed in Oracle, Microsoft, Adobe, Uber, Myntra, Deloitte, GS to name a few. CS has quite a good record as far as internships are concerned. Close to 95% students in the batch bagged an internship from the college. Apart from industrial internships, many students also applied and got selected for Research int...

NITK : MBA - a short review - 2018 Batch.

Placements: Placement of the previous batch was good compared to previous batches. 30 students got placed out of 44 from previous batch. The average package is 5 Lacs per annum. The only thing is students need to work hard for placements as there is a little support from the training and placement cell of the college for MBA Department.

NIT Surathkal has private beach?

Placements: Core placements are generally great, but during our pass-out year there were few due to revision in electronics. But, There are very high paying placements in IT companies due to nearness of Bangalore. Overall percentage placement for ECE were 90- 95%. .

NITK-an exciting journey you would't want to miss!

Placements: Good placements. The companies are divided into core/ dream, normal and super dream companies. Many have been placed in PSUs too. The jobs include Core jobs, IT sector jobs, analyst jobs. Around 95% plus students have been placed. An efficient placement cell along with Placement coordinators' team is working really hard to improve the placements in the branch.

The review of a pre-final year who enjoys the college life.

Placements: 97% of the batch was placed. Students who got admits into foreign universities and did not sit for placements are considered as placed. 50% of my batch got technical internships in companies like Bosch, Mahindra, Texas instruments, Qualcomm etc. And management roles at Amazon, Exxon Mobil and software roles at Uber, Goldman Sachs and Arcesium.

As satisfied as I could have been.

Placements: Placements are good, if you want to get a good package you are required to have good graps about the concepts of engineering and aptitude questions. Computer Science and IT fetches some of the best packages during campus placements. Some students also go for MS.

The lowest and the highest packages offered were 4 Lacs LPA and 17LPA. National institute of technology, surathkal ( pros& cons).

Placements: Placements was not there for M.Tech students. This is very sad. We students work hard for GATE exam and qualify it then take admission only on the name of college but what we get in reverse. Zero placements. Placements are good for B.Tech but for m. tecg it is horrible.

Placements are good here, excluding few faculty members others are very approachable.

Placements: Placements statistics can be seen in our college every year and it has been very good and more than 80-90% get placed from each branch reaching their dream companies. There is a training and placement cell in our college which makes sure good communication with the HRs visiting our college and updating the students with all the uptadations through ICs or PCs.

Great place to develop oneself.

Placements: Placement were good for our seniors compared to us, but in our batch more are going for higher studies. So it's almost good. NITK Surathkal has got Bangalore nearby, so many IT companies come for placement. But it's not the case with core branches, they are limited and take limited people. So it's been good for ECE, it, CS EEE, but bad for civil, mech. Remaining chem, meta, mining were good as well as their companies are sufficient for number of students in Nitk.

I am very much satisfied with the infrastructure compared to others.

Placements: The college is best. When compared to other branches, the placements opportunities are less, but if you go with software, then you will get more opportunities. I suggest, please start preparation in the sixth semester for placements so that you will get in the first month of placement.

Overall NITK is a very good college. Good placements, infrastructure. Slight improvement in Course.

Placements: Campus placements for B.Tech Computer Science and Information Technology are very good as compared to other colleges. Companies like Google, Microsoft, DE Shaw etc. Come at day 1 and average placement is around 8 Lacs. Apart from CS and IT, other core branches like ECE, EEE, Mech, Civil etc. Also have good placement records. In CS we had 100% placement record. The highest package was offered by Google Mountain view. - 1 crore. Average salary is 8 Lacs.

It is good for studies and really amazing infrastructure. One can get a national crowd here.

Placements: Most of the people get placed in the college. Computer science and information technology get the best of the placements followed by electronics, electrical and mechanical. Metallurgy chemical has little said here. Some of the public sectors still visit even after the stay order of the court.

Placements: We have not got the placements till now as we are in second years but we have gone for industrial training and are going for internships in the second year itself and the senior have been placed from the campus wih relevantly high packages. Placements of seniors are close to 90% and the highest package offered is 20 Lacs in meta branch and the lowest is 4 Lacs. And most of the students get their internships and there is a placement cell as well.
