Placements: The placements for CSE, ECE, IT and EEE are very good compared to civil and mechanical in case of both B.Tech and M.Tech. The salary package reaches the maximum for CSE and IT, which is 20 LPA and 18 LPA. It may be even more than that. The remaining package is not that good, but you can expect very big companies.
Placements: The placements are very good. Almost all of them get placed, i.e., about 90%. The highest package offered until now is 36lacs p.a to a student of the computer science and engineering branch. The lowest package is 4.5 lac p.a. About 70-80% of the students go for a summer internship. About 4-7 students go abroad for the internships. There is a separate placement cell. It is the best college in my state.
Placements: My college now has very excellent placement opportunities. It provides an excellent salary package in all the branches. But, specifically speaking, it rocks in matters of CSE. Microsoft tops almost every year regarding packages giving up to 37 LPA. Others are Oracle, Hyundai, Bajaj, FIITZEE, etc. Here, an awesome part is that students only play all the roles including entrepreneurship fields to some extent. That's the reason above 60% are interned every year with PPOS. The highest was 1.5 lakhs....
Placements: The placements are really good. Around 80-85% of the students got placed. The highest salary was 25 lakhs per annum for CS and IT student. The lowest was 4 lakhs per annum, and the average salary was 7-8 lakhs per annum. The roles offered was around software profile, core, and Analyst profile. 20-30% of the students got the internship. The highest stipend offered was around Rs. 60,000 for 2 months, and the lowest was Rs. 20,000 for 2 months. There's placement cell which is very efficient and man...
Placements: Last year, almost 63% were placed in civil engineering. The average salary is almost 5 LPA. It is the lowest placement compared to other branches, but this college is great. If you can score above 8 CGPA, then no matter what your branch is, you'll get good companies.
Placements: Frankly speaking, there are around 40-50% placements in M Tech. But if you are going for B Tech, then you are probably going to be a multi-bagger. Most of the private companies visit here for placements. The average package of around 7-8 LPA, and the highest of 24 LPA.
Placements: Placements for M.Tech and M.Tech (research) students are fair in case of the mechanical engineering department. Branches like the design, thermal, manufacturing, mechatronics have 50% industrial placement on an average. Also, there are opportunities for internship and industrial projects.
Placements: Well, I am still in the first year, but I'll try to give all the information that I know. This year, the highest package offered was 36 LPA. The placement percentage is more than 95 in all the departments except mining. The average salary all over is around 10-13 LPA. When it comes to departments, the computer science got the highest average, i.e. 18 LPA. There is also a placement cell here which according to the feedback given by my seniors here, works sufficiently enough.
Placements: Our mechanical students have of around 90% placements. Being the 3rd highest college, we have many companies visiting our college in the final year. We have both private and government companies. I feel more government companies need to visit.
Placements: Particularly in the chemical branch, the placements are more than 90%, and for more details, you can see the placement stats in the official website of NIT-K. The computer science branches have the highest placement percentage along with an average package. Also, every branch placement stats are fine.
Placements: The students have a good set of opportunities to utilise. Most of the people get placed or else moved to further studies. All we need to have is the subject knowledge and minimum pointer. Few students get PPO during their internship, which is other the best thing. Usually, placements start from 7th sem. Many companies arrive on the 7th semester.
Placements: As of January 2018, 72.8% of the eligible candidates got the placement. The percentage of placement in the 2017th batch was 90%. The core companies like Samsung, Qualcomm, Texas Instruments, Intel, Path Partner, CDoT (government company), etc., and the non-core companies like Microsoft, Oracle, Samsung (software) and a total of 150 companies opened their placement for E&C branch. In the 2017th batch, the highest package offered is around Rs. 18 LPA by TI. For the internships in addition to the c...
Placements: I was not placed. But still, about 94-95% of the students of NITK got placed. The highest package was about 36.6 LPA. In my branch, it could possibly reach about 25 LPA. The average package would reach probably about 7-9 LPA. Overall, the placements are good.
Placements: The placements in CS and IT are up to the mark, but for different branches, you have to work hard. Some branches like mining and metallurgy placements are way too less. There is a training and placements office to assist you with placement. The mechanical and civil placements are decent.
Placements: The placements are really good for the non-core branches. For the core branches, most of the times, you will land up with a job, but the pay scale will be significantly lower than the software companies. The roles ranging from technical to analysts are offered to both the interns and FTE.
Placements: The placements are quite good in the academic year 2017. 80% of the students are placed. The highest package offered was 20 lpa, the lowest was 3 lpa, and the average was 6 lpa. Analytics, financial, pharma, and software. The business analyst, executive and management trainee. 60% of the students got the internship. The highest stipend was 70 thousand, and the lowest was 15 thousand.
Placements: Being a computer science student, I must tell you that the placement percentage is very good in my institute. Almost around 90% of my seniors have been placed into various 20+ companies. Also, from the remaining 10%, most of the students aspired for higher studies and did not sit for the interviews. The highest package would be around 38 LPA. The average staying around 12 LPA to 15 LPA and the lowest is around 4 LPA. The companies visited the campus are Microsoft, Samsung, Intuit, Texas Instrume...
Placements: The placements offered in civil engineering is pretty good with an average package of 4.5 lakhs per annum. Many high-end companies visit for the placements including PSUs. PSUs offered the highest package around 7 lakh per annum. Variety of roles will be offered by the companies like site engineer, planning g engineer and management roles. And civil engineering students can get into software companies by clearing their entrance exams.
Placements: Overall, the college placement is very good, but for civil engineering, the placement in core companies aren't that great because of limited companies. Its improving every year and there is a considerable increase in the core companies. With one more semester to come and after finishing a semester of placement, now the placement is satisfactory.
Placements: Since NITK, Surathkal is one of the oldest technical institutions in South India and one of the best among the NITs, the placement records are commendable. According to the 2016-17 statistics, 73 out of 81 students in the electrical department have got placed. The core companies like Intel, Qualcomm, Texas Instruments, ARM, Sandisk, Bajaj, Samsung SSIR, CDOT, etc. visit for recruitments. Most of the students usually opt for masters and get admissions in the finest colleges abroad.
