At placement and knowledge levels, this college is a better option for you.

Placements: NIT Surathkal in the top 3 NITs. This year, CS and chemical placements were 100 percent. In EC, 87 out of 93 were placed. Civil placements were very bad as 45 out of 68 were placed. Being a government college, NITK has a really awesome infrastructure and awesome faculties.

Placements: Placements have been really good. The number of companies that visit the campus has constantly increased with time and the packages are getting better every year. If you attend the classes regularly and have a good practical knowledge of your subjects, you'll really knock some big numbers. Getting a proper summer internship helps you more.

A wonderful learning experience at NITK, Surathkal.

Placements: The placements were good enough. There are companies like Microsoft, SanDisk, Samsung, Reliance and other renowned companies visiting the campus. Pursuing chemical engineering, I have heard that the average salary for our batch is around 7 LPA. Core based companies always pay less (5-6 LPA) and finance, data analysis and business-based jobs pay more (8+ LPA).
