The college is well equipped with technical equipment’s. It is the best government college of Odisha for Engineering in terms of anti-ragging campus, laboratories and active clubs. Talking about the fee it’s a bit high for SSC (CSE, BT, IT, FT). FACULTY - Most of the faculty members are well educated and experienced. There are no properly maintained cricket and football grounds. Placement - It is the first thing which comes to everyone's mind. Most of the students get placement, but the packag...

If you are not from Rajasthan don’t even think to join this college. Because at the end of the day you will find that you have spent a lot of money and time and in return you are going to your home with empty hand. As it is a government organization nobody cares about college. Management is not up to the mark. Some faculty is very good at their subject and willing to do something for students but there are very less number of such faculty. Most of the faculty even doesn't deliver their lecture ...

CET, Bhubaneswar is the top ranked college in Odisha under Biju Patnaik University of Technology. It is a state government owned autonomous institution and hence, the fees is nominal about 35000 per year. The infrastructure is not so high-five but still the campus life and students are one of a kind. The faculty is one of their kind. The placement record is very good for high ranking branches like Mech. Electrical, Instrumentation, and CSE etc. As a whole if you have missed IITs or NITs by sligh...

Placements are not that good avg 3-4 LPA.

Placements: All get placed. Maximum in TCS and Accenture. 3-4 LPA average package and about 14-16 maximum. Internship is quite difficult to find. You can become developed, machines learning engineer, network engineer, cybersecurity expert, etc. , but you have to build your skill on own.

Average college but worth it.

Placements: 80 percent of students were placed in my college and placements were mainly from pharmaceutical companies. Usually, in this course, as you are doing, you will easily become a teacher after your integrated course, which lasts for 5 years. The highest package is INR 15 lacs, and the lowest is INR 7 lacs.

It is a better college. Odisha's best government engineering college.

Placements: I am a first-year student in the biotechnology department in our college batch 2021-25. Speaking about placement in our Branch u can't get it but u can get it only in the IT sector. Other branches has good placement. In our Branch, you can only opt for higher education.

Our college has a good ROI, but it could have better infrastructure and course curriculum.

Placements: Around 80% of the students from our batch got placed in final placement drives. The highest salary package offered was 24 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 2.4 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course were Maruti Suzuki, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, etc. Internships are not provided by our college, and all students search for internships on their own. Top roles offered in our course are a network engineer and software developer.

It is the best state run college in the state.

Placements: The placement scenario is good if you are joining branches like CS/IT, but core branches like civil and mechanical had fewer opportunities. We had many good companies like Tata Steel, Maruti Suzuki, etc., and we also had mass recruiters too. Placements were good for our batch.

As per me, this is a good college because this is government college and very low fee.

Placements: Atleast 60 percent of student got placement as I know. The highest package as per I know is INR 13 Lacs per annum. Vardhaman is the top recruiting company. Many more are there. 50% get internships as I know or more. As per your capability roles are offered.

Good placement in the year 2020.

Placements: 60% of the students are already placed in companies ranging from TCS to Adobe. The range of salary varies somewhere between 3.6 LPA to 17 LPA. No core companies available for our branch so students had to settle for Accenture which is basically a software job. For my branch, the range is between 3.6 - 4.5 LPA. A handful of students get an internship, it's mostly the fellowship.

Review of College of Engineering and Technology, Biju Patnaik University of Technology.

Placements: Placements are not provided by our college for our department. We did not get opportunities to apply for any campus interviews organised in our college as they require computer programming skills. We are not taught any course on computer programming in our syllabus. So, usually, students tend to find jobs on their own through personal contacts or walk-in interviews.

The college has different clubs for the skill development of students.

Placements: Average placement. If one studies well he/she will definitely get placed. Good companies come for hiring the students. Even the core branches students get placed. There are different clubs for the skill development of students which are simultaneously required during the placement.
