The best college to enjoy engineering life.
Placements: I didn't get placed through campus placements, but placements in the college were okay. Companies like TCS, Zycus, Mind Tree, Tech Mahindra, etc., visited our campus for placements. Most of the companies offered voice process roles. The minimum placement percentage of any batch was almost 60%. Placements completely depend on IT companies, otherwise, the college will provide a lot of opportunities to get into BPO profiles.
Infrastructure: Our college has one of the largest auditoria in Odisha. The campus has a great environment for study. There is a separate building for freshers. The hostel is good. The library has a lot of books, but all were outdated. The canteen was good, but the food provided was average. Two cafeterias are well-maintained. Sports ground was available for football, cricket and volleyball etc. There might not be proper sports equipment.
Faculty: Faculty members were cooperative. The course curriculum was up to the mark. Notes provided by faculty members are a bit less. There is a shortage of classes due to strikes which make students suffer. Attendance matters more than notes. Improvements were required in skill technology. The college has labs to conduct practicals.
Other: Fests, events and other celebrations organised in the college were the best.

The best college for the students of CS and IT departments.
Placements: The placements for some branches like CS and IT are good, but not enough for all the students. Many students from other branches are also placed in the companies related to CS and IT departments, but they are facing some difficulties when compared to the students of CS and IT.
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi facility is available on the campus. Many labs like physics, chemistry, CSE, IT, PE, BME, etc., are available. The labs are well-maintained and fully equipped. The classrooms are big, and the college has a big library. There is a small medical house in the college, but it is not good. Only stomach infection medicines are available. The ambulance is also available on the campus in case of an emergency, but the condition of the ambulance is not very good. All the types of games are being played on the campus, but the college doesn't provide any sports facilities.
Faculty: The teachers are very cooperative, helpful, highly educated, very supportive and knowledgeable. Not all the teachers are good, some are the worst and not much knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good, but it can be better by putting some efforts. The courses are good and easy to cover. The course curriculum is up to date.
Other: The college organises a fest every year to have entertainment. The campus is associated with a charitable trust named Nabyajyoti charitable trust. The campus is not located in a good place. The college is surrounded by a village, and it's a bit difficult for the students in case of medical emergency. All types of extracurricular activities like indoor games, and outdoor games like football, volleyball and cricket, etc., are encouraged. Overall, the college is good.

Good college for those who really want to study.
Placements: Placements were okay. Three to four core companies come for placements. Also, a lot of companies came from the IT sector.
So overall, placements are average or we can say good.
Placement officers are also very co-operative. The major recruiter is TCS. This year, it selected around 107 students from various branches.
Infrastructure: The campus is situated on 50 acres of land. Well equipped labs are provided for both civil as well as computers. This college has a large auditorium which is unique because, in Odisha, only this college has this type of an auditorium.
Boys hostels are there on the campus whereas girls hostel are provided off campus.
Cricket ground and football grounds are also there.
Faculty: Faculty members in this college are good. Teachers are always available for helping the students in academic purposes.
Regular study tours are organised by the college.
Also, time to time seminars are organised. Faculty members are present sufficiently in this college.

Good placement record in 2017, infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: Placement for core branches like civil engineering is not so good. This year, Royal Infrastructure Ltd. was the only company whose representatives arrived in the college. Royal has selected eight students from the civil branch. 4 students have got placement in Bondata which was a pull campus. The company arrived in Rajdhani Engineering College and students from different colleges had participated in it. Two students have got placement in JMC Project Ltd. which was off-campus held in KIIT campus. Lastly, six students have got placement in T.C.S. This is the total placement in civil branch this year. Other branch students have got placement in good companies with handsome salary. Computer science, information technology, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, electronics, and telecommunication engineering- almost all the students have got placement in different countries irrespective of their branches because mast of them got placed in the software field. For mechanical students this year - Ultra Engineers, Act CAD, TEGA, etc. A maximum of Rs. 8 lakhs package has been provided this year. TCS has taken 107 students in on-campus. Jycus has taken 8 students in on-campus. Amazon has provided Rs. 3 lakhs per annum package this year in the college. The highest package was Rs. 8 lakhs and the lowest package was Rs. 1 lakh. Many companies have recruited the students but all are off-campus. Students have been provided the role of assistant engineer, senior engineer, BPO, KPO, airport ground staff, bank clerk, etc. Internship has been provided to almost 90 percent students. The highest stipend provided is Rs 18,500 rupees per month for 6 months in Royal Infra Ltd. and the lowest stipend was Rs. 10,500 per month in Rivigo.
Infrastructure: 24*7 Wi-Fi facility is being provided on the college campus. All engineering departments have their own laboratories. For the first year students, a separate building is being provided in which their classroom and labs are taken. The first-year students have been provided all the facilities separately. There is a medical center inside the campus in which students can get medicine all the time and the senior doctor comes regularly in the center for any checkup. There is a stadium inside the campus in which sports and games activities take place. Every year, cricket tournament is being played in this stadium. Students from all the colleges like NIT Rourkela, KIIT, CET, Birla Institute of Technology, IGIT Sarang, GIFT, GITA, and the remaining colleges coming under B.P.U.T. participate in this. There is a digital library in the campus. This library is so big that students can do self-study also irrespective of the number of students inside the library. There are 4 canteens in total inside the campus. One canteen is the main college canteen which is present near the college auditorium, and one is present near the first-year building. The 3rd canteen is known as IT canteen because it is located near the IT department. The 4th canteen is situated near the library. There is also a bank in the campus named Oriental Bank Of India in which all the college staff (teaching as well as non-teaching) have created their account for their monthly salary and students have made their account in the bank so that they can pay their college fees without any trouble. For boys, the college has provided a hostel inside the campus with all type of facilities. For girls, the hostels are provided in Saheed Nagar, and in Patia.
Faculty: The faculty members of all the departments are very good. In the civil department, K.P. Das and Tarun Kumar Lohani are the best teachers who have maintained the position of the department. All the faculty members have done their M.Tech and even Ph.D. from NIT and some have also done it from Birla and C.E.T. They always provide guidance for all the subjects. The faculty members are enough in number. Best teachers are provided by the college management for the good future of the students. I have gone for 6 industrial visits in my B. Tech career. The college has provided a lot of opportunities to visit industries like Damana Port, Kuanria Dam, Sakhi Gopal Railway Station, Salia Dam, NTPC, Hirakud Dam, etc. I enjoyed the trips and also learnt about their construction and operational process.
