Review of Padamanava College of Engineering.

Placements: The placements are negligible. On-campus placements are not provided. Some companies will come but offer low packages. The average package is below 2 LPA. Students got placed off-campus in companies like TCS, Oracle etc. The top roles offered are developers, tester etc.

Dissatisfied by the infrastructure, placements, medical facility and the girls hostel warden.

Placements: The placement was not up to the mark. The placement was actually zero no one form our batch got placed in any of the company but for the education purpose, they gave good knowledge in our stream. Faculty were good and had good knowledge of their subjects. They also had industrial visit for students to acquire knowledge of working in industries.

The infrastructure is the worst as the college looks like a school with low standards.

Placements: Nearly 60% of the students from the mechanical course were placed. The lowest salary offered ranges from Rs. 12,000 to 30,000 per month. SAIL, Indian Oil Corporation, Maruti, etc., are the top recruiters of our course. Automotive engineer, mechanical engineer and CAD technician are the top roles offered in our course. All students get internships in nearby industries.

The college was not good if you want to do something innovative then go to other colleges.

Placements: Placement facilities were quite good. For our batch, there was a good strength of students who got placed, but they were unable to avail good companies or core companies. Placement cell was not serious about placements. Supporting staff are not well trained.

Overall the college was good, but lack of placement was a major issue.

Placements: The college does not provide placements. I got a job due to my personal references but later left that for UPSC preparation. There was a placement cell, and college also charged a fee for that every year. Even personality development classes used to be conducted but no placements were provided.

The college has a strong infrastructure and academic curriculum.

Placements: There are no many placement opportunities for core branches. Only IT companies visit this college for placements. The highest salary package offered is 1.2 LPA. Not much-reputed companies visit this college. If you want to get admission in this college, please don't hope for placements.

Padmanava College of Engineering is the best college.

Placements: Placements in our college are the worst. Companies with no stable background like blacklisted contractors and Pvt Ltd companies visit our college to hire students. Our college has the worst placement record for the past 8 years with zero placements. Overall, it is the best institute to learn, but the placements are the worst with mannerless authority. They won't take any responsibility, and they are the future destroyers of every student.

An average college, but the best teaching.

Placements: The college is trying to give the best placement to students, but yet need to improve the quality of placements by bringing the good companies to the college. The placement cell is dedicated to bring the companies to campus as well as they are organising various off-campus drives.

The college has a moderate infrastructure and is conventional but has a brief engineering syllabus.

Placements: There were no placements available on the campus. Almost all of my classmates are in some reputed organisations only because of their hard work and enthusiasm. The pre-placement talk organised by the college was a total waste. All the companies that came to the placement drive were fake.

Memories of my college life and missing a lot.

Placements: The placements are just for the namesake. There was a campus drive or job mela where students from some nearby colleges also participates in the placements. I was selected in Optiemus Infracom, got a quality engineering job at Noida sector 63, but they told me to do at production assembly line, of zen mobiles which is an upcoming mobile. They told six-month experience is given, but when I talked with the employees working from 1,2 years, they told its doubt that they would give you a certificate...

A student review about the college.

Placements: Last year, more students got placement offers. The students were hired in HCL, and also in one company that has come from Mohali. Last year, our college also held the Western interview affairs, in which students from different colleges have come for an interview.

This is not the best college your are looking for.

Placements: The placements are very poor, i.e., it has fewer placements. Some of the startup companies visited the college which shut down after a year without paying the full salary to the employee, my friend was one of them. It is better to write AMCAT or litmus for a job. Don't depend on the college because of the placement statistics are very poor.

Poor placements and helpful faculty.

Placements: Our seniors were not placed quite well. A lot of fake companies hired them and they suffered a huge gap in their career after passing out. But we have seen quite a good number of placements this year. Yet, we have to join our companies and couldn't say what kind of companies they would be. hopefully, it will increase in the upcoming years.

Our college is average in western Odisha.

Placements: Placements of our college are average and placement of our seniors was average but for us, this was not good. We were struggling with it, especially CSE students. In short, I can explain it as not good for the present batch i.e. our batch. The placement was good when we took admission to this college. Infosys, TCS etc companies were coming for recruitment in our college. But at present, only consultancy companies such as Adecco or Tata BSS companies came for recruitment, which is the worst than ...

The infrastructure of this college is average. But still, the classrooms are very clean and well-maintained. But there is no AC in the classrooms. But the labs are air-conditioned. Hostel facilities are available but the hostel is not well maintained. The food quality in the hostel canteen was not good. There is no swimming pool and gym. The placements are not good. Very few companies visit this campus and most of them are non-branded and some of them were also fake. Our college faculty is highl...

Awesome college to be in. Nice atmosphere to study. Good faculty. Located at an awesome place Rourkela. The fee is very minimal compared to other colleges. But the education is well and good. Cleared from this college without any back. This college is affiliated to BPUT and has branches of Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Civil, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering etc.

The College boasts excellent Faculty with good Infrastructure and lots of in-house activities to enhance our overall soft skills. I belonged to EEE department and the teaching staff was really helpful in assisting me whenever I had doubts. Placement wise the college needs to go a long way but still it tries to place most of the candidates through its placement drives.

Average college, nothing special either in their curriculum or in there academics. Campus is too small and you never feel the pleasure of college. Maximum teachers are under experienced, less than 1 years’ experience. Overall, the college is below average and good enough to just obtain a B.tech. degree.
