Review of Padmanava College of Engineering.

Placements: The academic percentage of our college is average. Students scored about 60% in academics. The highest percentage is about 95%, and the lowest is 45% in our college. The highest salary package offered is 8 LPA by the reputed company. Top recruiting companies like Tata Consultancy Services, Infosys and Mahindra visit our campus for placements.

Absolutely dissatisfied, because of faculty, good placement ,good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: The placement in our college is excellent. Many good companies are visiting our campus for placement drives. The package offered ranges from INR 2.5 lacs per annum. Both paid and unpaid internships are offered. All types of roles are offered. Our seniors were placed in better companies.

I am satisfied with academic and non-academic activities.

Placements: Placements in our college were good for our batch. About 80% of students got placed in good companies like TCS, L &T, HCL etc. They offer roles like managerial, and for civil engineers, they offered the role of site engineers. The average salary offered was Rs. 35000 per month.

Satisfied with academic work such as classes, but placement status was not good.

Placements: Placement status was very bad for core branches. IT and computer Science students got placed in companies like TCS, Oracle. 25% student got placed in the company. The list of the company visited are Triveni, cumins India, TCS, Tech Mahindra etc. Many students cracked a government job.

It is the best college in my city. I like my college.

Placements: Wipro, L&T, BHEL, Microsoft and much more companies visit for placements. 70% percent students are placed. The highest, lower and average salary offered was above Rs. 20,000 per month, out of Odisha. 90% percent of the students got the internship from this college.

Neutral outlook towards PCE Rourkela.

Placements: My 2 years senior batch's placement was good but the just senior batch suffered. We expected the same fate but somehow Infosys and Tech Mahindra conducted their placement. Around 30-40% of the total strength of our batch managed to get into these companies. Our college also tied up with Cocubes and AMCAT and other off-campus drives happening in other colleges. A few people managed to get through there. But a majority didn't have any placement by the end of the term. These people struggled for ...

Very good college (only in terms of education).

Placements: I won't say it was very good or bad, but on an average, it was good for both my batch and my seniors'. Less number of students were placed and majority were through the off-campus drive. Besides, the college calls some fake companies like Net Profit for the placement, which just dupes money from the candidates. As majority of the companies were from off campus, I think the highest salary that was offered was around Rs. 22-23k and the lowest was 15k. As I have already mentioned, majority of t...

It was good experience, enjoyed learning whole 4 years of studies. Faculty members were also very good. The facilities and fees was good and can be affordable to maximum family. Just need to improve the infrastructure as it is very old. Also the atmosphere nearby the college is very good as there is now crowd and or any noise pollution, in short it’s a very cool, green and very calm place where we can study very nicely and with more concentration.

Overall, I will rate this college 4 out of 5.

Placements: The placements were satisfactory. The training and placement office staff are well behaved and helpful. From our senior batch, 40% of students got placed. Lots of on-campus and off-campus opportunities are provided in our college. IT companies were major recruiting companies here. CSE, mechanical and electrical students got placed.

It is a good college if you don't want to go out of the station. But you have to work hard.

Placements: Placements in our college are good. In the current year, they improved a lot compared to the previous year. Few companies are yet to come. So overall placements are fine. Every year the placement percentage is increasing as per the college website. If you want 100% placement, then this is not the right choice. But apart from placements, there are several other facilities available which will impress you.
