The faculty are great and enjoy teaching.
Placements: Our college has the highest placement rate compared to all the engineering colleges in Goa. Companies range from Infosys, Mahindra and many other start-ups come here. Various seminars are conducted on placement training and about pursuing further studies in India as well as abroad.
Infrastructure: Spacious classrooms and laboratories are available for every course for the respective department. High-speed Wi-Fi is available in all labs. A central library is available. There is no hostel or mess. The canteen is available. Football ground, basketball court and sports are available.
Faculty: Highly intellectual and supportive faculty are available. They help us not only in academics but also in other curricular activities. Professors use various visual mediums and helping aids to make the course interesting.

Most memorable experience.
Placements: Passing out year of our batch was 2014. We had almost 60 to 70 students in our batch doing Mechanical engineering. Around 15% of those got placed via campus interview while others tried getting job from outside and some started their own business. Some of the companies who came for placements were TCS, Persistent and Tech Mahindra. The package offered ranged from 3 to 4 Lacs/annum.
Infrastructure: Labs and classrooms are well-equipped, spacious and clean. There were 6 labs on each floor for each department. Hostel facility is only provided for girls. Boys have to do their own arrangement for PG's. The college does not provide Wi-Fi facility. Food quality was good and available at any point of time. Only issue with canteen was that the care taker used to change a lot.
Faculty: Faculty here is very knowledgeable and highly qualified. Their teaching quality was excellent. They were always available when needed specially during final year project work, our faculty members were very helpful in guiding us in getting required result. Yes, the course curriculum was very much relevant and yes, it makes students industry ready.
Other: Mechanical engineering was something I was always interested in doing hence, I chose this course. The best thing about this course was I enjoyed doing what I was doing. The knowledge I gained and also the support of our faculty members and being part of various events related to mechanical engineering was best part of this course. Things I wish would be better about our course is availability of Wi-Fi in campus and taking up company live projects as final year projects as this will give students some experience which will be very helpful for them.

It was an average college.
Placements: Around 10% of the students got placed with a salary ranging from Rs.10,000 to 20,000. Mostly IT companies visited the campus for placements. Around 50% of the students got internships, but they didn't offer a stipend. We have done over internship without stipend. We have a placement cell, but it is not much efficient.
Infrastructure: In our campus, we have all types of facilities. The college was average in all aspects. The canteen was not much good. I never stayed in the hostel, so I don't know about the hostel. Overall, the infrastructure was quite good, and I never faced any issues regarding infrastructure.
Faculty: Teachers were very helpful and quite knowledgeable, but they were very less experienced. Their teaching quality was good. They used the old methods to teach us, i.e., blackboard and occasionally used projectors. We had only one field trip per semester, so we had good industry exposure. The course curriculum was useful, but it doesn't deal with practical solutions.
Other: We have a fun week at our college.

I had a highly memorable college life.
Placements: Placements for our batch were average. The average salary package offered was around 4 LPA. Students were offered the role of assistant professor in our college. I don't know the percentage of students who did an internship as it was not mandatory at my time.
Infrastructure: The college does not provide Wi-Fi facility and no standalone medical facility. Labs and classrooms were well-equipped. Food served in the canteen was average as the canteen caterer kept changing and no standard was maintained. Our college does not provide a hostel facility.
Faculty: Teachers were very helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. Teaching quality was excellent. The student-faculty ratio was 65:7. Our classrooms were equipped with overhead projectors, which help in showcasing the presentations. A machine shop was well-equipped. The course curriculum was very useful.

The college needs to improve placements and campus life for students.
Placements: There were no placements during the year of graduation, and hardly any colleges provided placements. Hardly any companies visit Padre Conceicao College of engineering for placements. College should work on inviting companies. There a lot of jobs available for students, but they don't provide information about it.
Infrastructure: The college has good infrastructure with good labs, internet and classrooms. The library is well-maintained. It is a sister concern college which shared the ground as well. The college does not provide hostel, which was disappointing. The college management should work on it.
Faculty: The course curriculum follows the Goa University curriculum, and it is good as per standards. There is a mixture of good and horrible faculty members at our time. Faculty members like professor Hirkude and Nina Panandikar were very supportive, but some of them were horrible, which would make you feel like leaving the course.
