If you want to enjoy then don't join this college.

Placements: Around 70% of mechanical students are placed in IT companies and very few people got placed in core companies. The highest package for mechanical engineering students is around 5LPA and the lowest is around 2LPA. The Top recruiters are mainly IT companies like Accenture, TCS etc. No student got internship. Top roles offered are system engineers and developers in IT services.

I am absolutely dissatisfied because of the way students are treated on our campus.

Placements: Most of the students who don't have backlogs will get placed from our college. But most of the top recruiting companies provide IT jobs. Few core companies hire minimum students with a low salary package. Most of the students who get placed in these IT companies will get the call letter after almost half a year.

Faculties are good, but I am disappointed by the rules.

Placements: Almost 150 students get placed in every batch, with an average package of INR 3.6 Lacs per annum. Top recruiting companies are Infosys, cognizant, TCS, Wipro, etc. , and even Google offers us an opportunity. Many students got an internship in many reputed companies.

Review of Panimalar Engineering College (PEC Varadharajapuram).

Placements: 6-7 well-reputed companies and few other BPO companies visit the college to offer placements. If you can't get placed in those reputed companies, then you won't get good placement even if you have a CGPA above 8. If you are skilled enough, then you can get placed for sure. You can't simply depend on PIT for placements.

Dissatisfied college life and haunted by its rules.

Placements: Most of the companies that visited our campus are IT ones. Leading core companies like Mahindra, Ashok Leyland didn't come for placements. The companies that visited our college are Tech Mahindra, Mercury Fittings, Keyence, Kotak Life Insurance, Aspiring Minds, Pyramidion Solutions, Zoho. Comparatively, the placements are less for the present batch. Very lesser people got internship offer and stipend. We do have a placement cell. They provide information about the companies that visit our colleg...

Good for bookworms, and bad for differently talented.

Placements: The placements are good for the people who roam with the books all time. When you aspire something beyond the books, they will stamp you out. There are bad rules and bad timings in this college. You won't be given Individuality at any time and will be treated like you are nothing, and better run to a good college. There are no ODs, and no privilege will be given until you are a bookworm.

Panimalar College is not a good college for this generation students

Placements: PEC College is one of the best colleges in Tamil Nadu. 70% of the students who have more than 7+ CGPA got placed. Top MNCs like Zoho, IBM, Infosys, etc. visits our campus. In my batch around 250 got selected in Accenture and 1100+ got placed in Infosys. Internship, symposium details are displayed on noticeboard regularly.

A heartfelt review about my college. No exaggeratio, just my thoughts summarised into words.

Placements: The placement training is noteworthy but only IT and MNC companies are called for recruitment. Core companies are not given importance, which I think is a major drawback. Companies like Accenture, TCS, CTS, Wipro, Capgemini and Tech Mahindra usually visit. A lot of students from computer science, electronics and communication and information technology get placed, while hardly a handful get placed from EEE and mechanical.

Its not worth for the money. The college does not offer placements towards core industries. Also when offered with campus placements there is no call back from the company end. So can try for better college than this with same price. For the females it is 100% safe. The only good thing is food provide by college.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of the rules of the college.

Placements: As I am yet to attend placements I don't know about it correctly but I heard that around 160 members got placed in Infosys this year for a salary of 3.6lpa and around 20 got placed for 6.5lpa which I think is good when compared to the numbers that got placed in previous years.

Panimalar engineering college review .

Placements: I completed my mechanical engineering in 2022. A small percentage of students were only placed in the campus interview. The highest package may be 4 Lacs per year, and the lowest is 2 Lacs per year. Top recruiting companies like Infosys, Wipro, and HCl are all coming for placement.

I am not satisfied with this college.

Placements: Almost 70% of students got placed in our college. The highest salary package offered is 8 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 1.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Zoho, Ford, etc. Students have to find internships by themselves. Top roles offered are software engineer, design engineer, and quality control engineer. Many students pursue higher studies.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of the method they are treating students.

Placements: Placements are average for computer related courses like BE CSE, B.Tech IT but other departments have the worst placements. Many of my seniors from other departments were doing call center jobs for Rs. 8000 per month which is the worst. The internships given for juniors are for name sake, they will have tie up with the company and you will do nothing or it will be a simple task like create PPT.

No college life but good food.

Placements: Pretty good placements with a large crowd of the batch going into bulk it recruiters. Good if you have IT Background. Not much Day 0 companies. But all those who were eligible were pretty much placed. Average CTC is around 3.2 LPA. The highest might stretch to 7 LPA.

I am dissatisfied with our college management.

Placements: About 75% of the students from our course got placed. The highest salary offered is Rs. 50,000 to 20,000 per month. Infosys, TVS, Wipro, Maruthi and other IT companies were the top recruiters of our course. As I am working as a mechanical engineer in the core companies, but I don't know about the IT companies. The salary package offered in our course ranges from 10 LPA to 2 LPA. None of the students got internships in companies.

It is a good college for only IT field.

Placements: Most of the software companies visit our college and hire students from the computer science branch. Software companies include major organisations like Infosys, Wipro, CTS, Accenture, etc. The average salary package offered was 3-3.5 LPA and the highest salary package offered was 4.7 LPA to one of our student from the computer department.
