* Placement Records: Only around 1% of students get placed, with the highest package being INR2 LPA and the lowest being INR1 LPA. Most students who get placed end up working in startups or BPO jobs. Only 20% of students get internships.
* Infrastructure: The college lacks basic amenities like WiFi, cleanliness, and proper maintenance. Hostel facilities are also subpar, with complaints about food quality and unhygienic conditions.

* Student Life: Students complain about the college not supporting sports and games, and there's limited recreational activity within the college premises.
* Fee Structure: While the fee is relatively affordable, students feel it's not justified considering the lack of resources and teaching quality.

Considering these factors, it's essential to weigh the pros and cons before deciding whether to pursue a degree at PCET Coimbatore. Here are some potential red flags to consider:

* Limited placement opportunities
* Poor infrastructure and maintenance
* Outdated course curriculum

Ultimately, whether it's worth pursuing a degree at PCET Coimbatore depends on individual priorities and expectations. It's crucial to assess the trade-offs carefully and consider alternative options that might offer better learning experiences and career prospects.

Recommendation: While some students have spoken positively about certain aspects of the college, the overall picture suggests that PCET Coimbatore may not be the best choice for those seeking a quality education and promising career outcomes. Further research and evaluation are recommended before making a decision.

Our college provided good placements in 2013.
Placements: Only 35% of students are placed in our course. The highest salary package offered is 10 LPA, the lowest is 3 LPA, and the average is 5 LPA. Boeing, Airbus, etc., are the top recruiting companies. About 80% of students got internships from our course.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college and hostel is not that good because of the management. They should improve immediately, but it's taken time to do it. There are no Wi-Fi facilities in our college. Labs are available at our college.
Faculty: Faculty members are very helpful in our exams. It's a little difficult to pass the semester exams. If we take our own time and study well, we can pass the exams.

There is good teaching before corona, but now the situation is different.
Placements: In this college, placements are good before corona.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is excellent, but this college was opened in 1996. The buildings are old. There is a separate department for all the students.
Faculty: Faculty members take classes for only a few days, but their teaching quality is very good. Teachers are brilliant, and they motivate students very well for their future. Exams have a separate exam cell.

I don't recommend this college. Please avoid it.
Placements: Placements in our college are the worst. No one is placed in companies because our course-related companies will not come. I am also studying in my final year. Around 20% of people are placed in our college placement and also have a low scale salary of Rs. 13,000. The very worst colleges don't recommend anyone get an internship.
Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi and the labs are not functioning in our college. Our hostel is very dirty and does not have a good restroom. The food is also very bland sometimes. Sometimes we don't have water in our college. There is no warden at the hostel and the hostel fees are very high. This college is a waste of our money. The classrooms are very old. The new block is only for 1st-year students.
Faculty: We have a very poor, knowledgeable staff, and the lower members of facilities management are not paid for a year. The facilities that are served for free in our college are very bad. There are no internal exams conducted. We also bring exam papers, and they threaten the very worst.
Other: I chose the college because the fee structure for my aeronautical department was lower than at other colleges.

I would not recommend joining this college.
Placements: Our college has very low placements. Our management failed to bring many placements. The highest salary package offered was 1.5 LPA LPA and the lowest salary package offered was 1 LPA. In that few companies are fake. Boeing, Airbus, HAL, and NAL are the top recruiting companies. Almost 20 % of the students got internships here. Roles offered are as CAE engineer, CFD engineer, FEA engineer, propulsionist, and aerodynamicist.
Infrastructure: The condition of the environment and infrastructure is very poor. Maintainance of college facilities is very low, maintaining of buses is also not in a proper way. We enjoy raining inside in the rainy season. Even roadside food will be better and healthier than our college food. There is no proper medical facility, and there is no support for sports.
Faculty: Faculty members are qualified, and the teaching is pretty low. The course curriculum is not relevant and it has only theoretical sessions. It makes students ready for exams and not for a job. The pass percentage is 50%. Classes are not taken properly because of some management issues and pending salary for staff.
Other: Our college doesn't prove good education.

Our college is good, but it should be developed.
Placements: About 85% of the students are getting placed every year. The lowest salary offered is Rs. 18,000 per month. Top recruiting companies for our course are Dell, Airbus, HAL and some IT companies. Top roles offered in our course are basic engineer, designer and research member.
Infrastructure: Our college has an ambient atmosphere, and I am proud that aeronautics in Tamil Nadu was launched first by our institutions only. The food served in the hostel is not as expected, so they need to change the food quality. However, hostel room facilities are awesome for NRI boys and girls. Sports and games facilities are also available here. Our college conducts separate classes for games and other extracurricular activities like NSS, Tamil Mandram, etc. The fee for our course ranges from Rs. 40,000 -1,30,000, which include hostel and food facilities fee. You can also get fee concession based on your intermediate marks. I got 1079 marks in intermediate, so I am paying 1.18 lac, including the hostel fee.
Faculty: Teachers here are knowledgeable, and their minimum qualification is ME. They are also experienced in some other colleges, and their teaching quality is very well. They teach in both Tamil and English. There are also special arrangements, and students get extra knowledge through labs.
Other: I have chosen this course because I want to become a designer. The only best thing about our college is they are providing a separate designing course in SolidWorks, CATIA, etc.
