Candidate must have passed VIII, IX, X, XI & XII Std. from schools situated in Tamil Nadu.
Tamil Nadu native candidate who have passed any of the VIII, IX, X, XI & XII Std. or their equivalent exam from schools situated outside Tamil Nadu can also apply. They should produce Original Nativity Certificate.
Children of Central Government Employees, irrespective of their nativity, provided their parents or guardians (only if both parents are not alive) have been serving in Tamil Nadu continuously for the past five years can be eligible to apply.
Sons & daughters of All India service Tamil Nadu cadre officers are eligible to apply. A Self declaration from the parent in this regard is to be produced.

Best college for a bright future.
Placements: Almost 80% of students were placed in my course. The highest package offered in my course is 13 LPA, the lowest package is 4 LPA and the average package is 6-7 LPA. The top recruiting companies for my course are Sobha construction, L&T Construction and Cameron Manufacturing India pvt. Ltd. 95% students got internships at L&T, Tata, and KNRCL construction companies. The top roles offered in my course are structural engineer, geotechnical engineer and road and railway department.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is plentiful in my college and Wi-Fi connections are available for students 24/7. Labs are completely optimizable and well maintained. They have all kinds of testing equipment needed. Classrooms are well ventilated and cleaned on a daily basis. The library is available with an adequate number of books. Hostel facilities quality is comparable to that of other colleges. Rooms are cleaned and mopped on a weekly basis every year, and the food available is also hygienic. They have an ambulance before the hostel 24/7 for any emergency. Sports are not so dominant but still, interested students are free to use sports things.
Faculty: Most of the teachers have completed Ph.D.s or did MEs, and they are talented teachers. The students are often taken on industry visits. Since semester exams are conducted by Anna University, exams are a bit difficult, but college gives us enough training, and the pass percentage is 96%.
Other: My college population is smaller and mainly concentrates on studies. So, if anyone is willing to enjoy their college life, it is not recommended that they join this college. But, still, this college has a good lawn and canteen to hang out with friends. But the faculty members are literally everywhere. But if you want a good future, this college is the best.

Good and excellent in education.
Placements: It is a good college with great infrastructure, faculty members, facilities and placements. Placements: Almost every student gets placed in a good company from our college. Our college claims that there are 100% placement results every year. Top recruiting companies for our course are Qualcomm, Caterpillar, Oracle, Cisco, SAP Labs, etc. Many of the students get an internship in top companies like Qualcomm, Caterpillar, etc. Top roles offered here are hardware engineer, software engineer and systems engineer. In 2019, we got the highest salary package of 38 LPA in Microsoft.
Infrastructure: It is a great learning experience. It has all facilities on campus. Academics is also very good. The faculty members are so coo-operative and supportive. They work hard for us and always welcome everyone to ask anything, discuss any problems one has. Our college has a rich library and a good big lab. The campus is really amazing. There are a lot of events and fests and workshops conducted throughout the session which is really interesting and specially career counselling sessions.
Faculty: The course curriculum is relevant, and our college has the industry at the back to gain industry knowledge and classes over it.
Faculty members are really good, qualified and more knowledgeable and teaching quality was excellent and good.

It is a number one college in Anna University.
Placements: Companies like L&T, Wipro, HCL, TCS, etc., visit our college and hire students by conducting interviews. Companies conduct three rounds in interviews, i.e., the first round is the aptitude, while the second round is a group discussion, and the third round is HR. If students qualify in all the three rounds, they get placed. Students are provided with 3 to 6 months duration training in the companies, and then only their jobs become permanent.
Infrastructure: There is a separate block for all departments, and labs are highly secured. Our college provides all kits to students. The food served in the hostel mess is good and healthy, and they provide only first-class quality food. There is a small hospital in our college, and our college gives importance to sports also.
Faculty: Teachers here are helpful to students, and they teach nicely. They provide soft copy and hard copy of the books to students, and they clear the doubts at any time. They are well trained and educate the students.
Other: All religions functions are celebrated here.

A great college that is student-friendly.
Placements: Placements have not started for our batch. Our seniors were the first batch of the college. Their placements went well. Companies visiting the campus were L&T, Tata projects, Ninjakart, Latentview, etc. I do not have any idea about the companies for other departments. The kind of roles include marketing, designing and supervising. There is a very good placement cell which is actively looking for more companies and getting everybody placed.
Infrastructure: The college has come to it's full form only recently. The labs are equipped with all the equipments and even ones that are not found in other colleges. The classrooms are neat and modern. There are lots of sports facilities available ( including an indoor court for badminton and tennis ). The auditorium which is nearing completion has already been recognised in national level. During my tenure, the college was being constructed but we were provided all facilities through alternate arrangements.
Faculty: The teachers are recruited after much testing. So every one has good knowledge and are highly qualified. They are always friendly and ready to help. They use conventional teaching methods along with videos and power point presentations. The curriculum is that of Anna university's and it's not much useful. But our teachers make sure we are updated by giving extra information in each topic. We have an industrial conclave each year where experts of the field come and share their views and expertise and guide the students.
Other: We have a symposium "Yuktaha" and an annual day each year. The campus is located on a highway, very far from the city. So there is not much in the surroundings except some small shops. There are many scholarships but I do not know about any of them since I haven't had any. There isn't much encouragement given to extracurricular activities since they focus on marks and tests.
