A good college to opt for chemical engineering.

Placements: We are the second batch in the department, thus have no placement record. As of now 5 of our seniors are placed in TCS. Saint gobain was the core company that had come up and we expect more to come. We had our internships done in large and small industries like the CPCL, IOC, Balmer Lawrie, India Cements, Cetex petrochemicals, And also in foriegn universities like the Swinburn University in Australia.

In this college, students can study well and can also enjoy their school life. Apart from biomedical engineering, other departments are also valuable.

Don't like the rules put by the college.

Placements: Most of them will get placed in IT companies cause we are forced to join it saying you won't get jobs if you didn't placed in campus. It's good but they are forcing us to do it. Our core companies including Ashok layland, Hyundai and lots of companies are there for our mechanical department.

I am satisfied with our college, but they should provide more other knowledge rather than subject.

Placements: Rajalakshmi Engineering College provides massive education for students. Students with more than 80% aggregate in academics can get admission in this college through counselling, and remaining students can join through management. Many reputed companies will visit the campus for recruitment. Students will surely get placed in reputed companies in this college if they have a good percentage in academics.

Overall, it is a good college with a good placement record and decent amenities.

Placements: Our college's placement record is quiet decent. Almost 76% of students got placed in various companies which concentrates on various sectors. The major recruiters are TCS, Zoho, Sutherland, etc. One drawback about the placement drives is that the majority of the companies concentrates on IT field jobs and core job opportunity is very less.

My 4-years in this college were the best. It is the only college where one can study and enjoy.

Placements: Our institute provides 80% placements to the students every year. Now, they made tie-ups with many top companies for the recruitment of students. Mainly dream offers were available with a salary package of more than 7 LPA. The lowest salary offered to the students might be Rs.12,000 per month. However, for the mechanical engineering department, only apprentice kind of jobs were available, which they are replacing diploma graduates with engineering graduates. Placements: Though there was a lull in placements for our batch, a lot of companies like TCS, Wipro, Wipro Bigdata, Zoho, Hitachi Solutions, Odessa, Voonik, Byjus, Vernalis tech, Virtusa, Sutherland, etc., visited our campus to recruit students. They conducted on-campus, off-campus and pool campus placements. Some companies also offered internships. Overall, the college is good.

Placements: The placements in our college were extraordinarily good. But, the students of biotechnology didn't have many placements as the other departments. The training provided by the placement cell was really good and helped many of us. Many big organisations and companies visited the campus for other departments of my batch.
